The Query Letter & the Truth No One’s Told You

So if you’re planning on publishing a book, you need a Query. It’s a letter, addressed to a publisher/agent, which highlights why they should read your novel. One of the best ways to reach your audience is to use social networking websites. Every author should be using at the very leastTwitter and Facebook. If you’re a YA or Kidlit author, you should also be on Tumblr.All authors should have a blog/website that they update regularly. You should include contact information as well as an easy way for fans to sign up to know about your next novel.
