Crime in the Emerald Isle - The Strand Magazine
When it comes to crime fiction, you don't get much more iconic than the Strand Magazine (CIRCA 1890)....so, I'm really honoured to have been asked to write a piece on Irish crime fiction, the writers who have influenced me, including William Trevor, and the launch of RED RIBBONS in the US with Polis Books.

I'll be giving the following talk this Saturday the 19th November at the Crescent Arts Centre Belfast:LOUISE PHILLIPS - The Modern Writer: a session on promoting your work – and yourself – in the competitive marketplace. Should you be active on social media? What does it mean to be 'a brand'? These, among many other relevant questions, will be tackled.
