Introducing "A Murder Is Foreseen"
I woke with a start. My heart was in my mouth. I looked over at the clock on my bedside locker and saw it was 2.20am. I lay still for a few minutes, before pulling myself up in my bed.
The dream I had just had was very vivid indeed. In fact it was so real I could feel my blood running cold.
I had seen a woman and a man arguing. Their features were indistinct. Then I saw the man pull a knife out. I had glimpsed a flash of the metal just before he plunged it into the woman. Her screamed had been cut off as the knife went into her.
I watched in horror as the man put the woman’s body into black rubbish bags, before he dragged it out of a building and along a path. Then I heard a splash as he threw the body into a lake. The lake seemed to be glimmering from the light of the Full Moon which was overhead.
It was at that point that I woke up.
The building and the lake seemed familiar to me, but for the life of me I couldn’t place them.
My heart had stopped pounding so I lay down. For some reason I knew the dream I had just had wasn’t normal. Never in my 46 years had I ever experienced anything like that before.
Sleep started to overwhelm me and I closed my eyes.
The next thing I knew I could hear my alarm clock going off. I sat up in bed, before getting up and heading into the bathroom to wash.

That extract is actually the first chapter of A Murder Is Foreseen.
It is the first book in a series to revolve around the central character of Anya Harding.
That dream changes Anya's life forever, as she discovers that only is she clairvoyant, but that she also comes from a long line of witches on her mother's side of the family.
It isn't so much a whodunit as a can it be stopped, because that is what Anya has to try and do as she works with the Police.
I really loved writing the book and I must admit I already have the second novel in the series going round my head even now. It is my hope that the second book will be available sometime next year.
This is the sort of book I would love to read. It is a mystery, but a paranormal version of one because of the characters.
It is my hope that others will enjoy it too.

Debut Novel Published
Today my debut novel, A Murder Is Foreseen, has been published as both a paperback and e-book.
It is the first book in the Anya Harding series.
Anya is a Reiki Master/Teacher whose life is turned upside down when she starts having clairvoyant dreams and visions about a murder which has not yet been committed.
Anya works with the Police to try and stop the murder from happening.
The question is will they succeed.
Besides discovering she is clairvoyant Anya also finds out that she comes from a long line of witches on her mothers side of the family.
I am hoping that the second book in the series will be available sometime in 2015.
I loved every minute of writing this book and I hope you enjoy reading it.

In The Aftermath Of Tragedy
The bomb attack in Boston yesterday was a terrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to those involved.
After tragic events in the past I have heard people say "Where were their angels when they needed them? Why did they let this happen?"
No one will ever answer those questions and satisfy everyone else by doing so.
I am not even going to try to answer them.Instead I would like to talk about what I did after I heard about the tragedy and perhaps you could do something similar.
Archangel Raphael is the angel in charge of healing and I asked him to be with all those involved who needed healing assistance. Like all the other angels Raphael can be with more person than once so he could help everyone.
Then I asked for the Guardian Angels of all those that were caught up in the tragedy to comfort them and protect them in their hour of need.
Another Archangel I could have called upon was Azrael. I could have asked him to bring comfort to the bereaved families and to help those who were helping them.
People may wonder where the angels were yesterday, but human angels were very active.
People rushed to help those who were injured. Others opened their doors and invited stranded runners in. Churches were opened so people could be helped. In the midst of tragedy light was still shining bright.
If you feel inclined to do so perhaps you could follow what I did. Remember anyone can call upon the angels no matter what religion they are. And at a time like this the angels will be only too happy to respond and help those in need.
No one will ever forget what happened yesterday, but my wish is that the angels will bring comfort and help all those involved.

Haunted Properties
In the late 1980s my parents bought a shop in a village outside of Dover in Kent.
At first it was a normal property. But after a while all that soon changed.
I kept seeing a figure disappear near the private entrance to the flat. When any of us went to check no one was there. Then I kept seeing the same figure disappearing into a wall round the other side of the shop. When this kept happening my parents made enquiries and discovered that there use to be a door in the wall which had been bricked up.

I have had a number of experiences like this throughout my life. They are still happening today.
One thing I have learnt is they are nothing to be afraid of. Ok you can feel scared initially, but I have never met a spirit that wants to cause harm.
This woman was a previous owner of the shop and I do believe she wanted to keep an eye on what was going on. As far as she was concerned it was still her business.
I think a lot of cases like this are echoes of the past. Someone who lived somewhere is still attached to the property.
I have experienced deceased loved ones not only in the property where they were living at the time of their passing, but in subsequent properties I have moved to.
The reason for this?
Quite simply I think it is because they want to show those they left behind they are all right. And of course they are checking to make sure these people are all right as well.
One of the reasons I wrote the book was to show people that events like this can happen to anyone at anytime and as I said they are nothing to be afraid of.
If you experience anything like this keep an open mind. After the initial shock know there is nothing to be scared of. The deceased person has a reason for being there and it may or may not involve you. But whatever the case know they won't harm you in anyway.

Beginnings
I was about four the first time I saw one of my Guardian Angels. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I had been suffering from a sore throat. My mum took me to the Doctor and he prescribed medication for me. Instead of improving I got worse and the Doctor increased the dosage of the medication. What we didn't know at the time was I was allergic to the medication which was why I was deteriorating.
I remember waking up, and sitting on the foot of my bed was an angel. She was sitting there reading a book. I remember my angel looking up and smiling at me before returning to the book. The following morning when I told my mum what I had seen I was able to pick out the book and show it to her.
My condition deteriorated so much I was taken to hospital. While I was there they realized I had suffered an allergic reaction and they got me off the medication straight away. Once I started on the new medication my condition started to improve. I slept a lot of the time, but I remember waking up and feeling a lovely cool breeze. That was the point my temperature started dropping and I was out of danger.
I am sure my Guardian Angel was with me to help me through the danger. She knew something was wrong before we did.

This was the start of my journey with the angels. One of them appeared to me so I knew I wasn't alone.
I am not the only one who has seen one of their angels when they have been in danger. A number of books include stories like this one.
The only time your angels can intervene without your permission is when you are in danger and it is not your time to go. In my case they have intervened a second time.
Angels can appear in human form to help you in these circumstances.
If you suddenly feel a push your angels are helping you out of danger.
Should someone suddenly approach you and advise you not to go a certain way follow that guidance. You may find out letter something happened there and your angel has got you away from harm.
If, God forbid, something did happen and someone appears and helps you then suddenly disappears your angel has been with you when you need them the most.
Pay attention to what is happening around you. Your angel may suddenly come to your aid when you least expect it.

One thing I have learnt since I started working with the angels is that they want more people to become aware of them. A lot of people have misconceptions about them and the angels want to break these barriers down.
I don't claim to know everything there is to know about angels and in all honesty I don't think anyone ever will. But they really want more people to connect with them so they can make a difference in that person's life.

The Angels And Messages
Today is Easter Day and in the Bible angel's feature strongly in the recalling of the Resurrection.
In Matthew's Gospel an angel descends and rolls away the stone that is in front of the tomb.
In Mark's Gospel when the women go to the tomb they find an angel sitting where Jesus' body had been.
In Luke's Gospel when the women enter the tomb they are joined by two angels who appear from nowhere.
Finally in John's Gospel two angels are sitting where Jesus' body was when Mary goes into the tomb.
In nearly every case the angel(s) have a message for the women about Jesus' Resurrection.
What people seem to forget or even don't know is that the angels are non-denominational. They feature in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, but they are not exclusively "Christian".
It is said that Archangel Gabriel dictated the Koran to Mohammed.
If there is something you need to know the angels will give you a message. They don't always appear as in the Gospels. A lot of the time they will use another person to give you a message that you need to hear.
For example you may be looking for work when you overhear a conversation where someone is telling another person that their company is recruiting. They are looking for people with exactly the same qualifications you have.
Listen to what is going on around you. You never know the angels may get a message to you when you least expect it.

The Future
I have just taken a one day Clairvoyance Workshop. I have connected to my Guide and I am able to receive messages from him. In a few days time I am starting a five week Clairvoyance Course which I am looking forward to very much. This is an area I have wanted to work in for a very long time and I am looking forward to see what happens in the future.

It's funny how you make plans and then suddenly everything changes unexpectedly.
I had taken the Workshop and if I do say so myself I thought it had gone well. I had connected to my Guide and was receiving messages. I had signed up to do the five week course. It was going to expand on what I had all ready learnt and cover some new subjects. I was really looking forward to it.
Then the day the course was due to start I received an e-mail telling me it had been cancelled. I could understand why as the minimum numbers hadn't been met.
I felt my heart sink as I really had been looking forward to expanding on what I all ready knew. I had done some practice readings for friends and they had been really pleased with what I had told them.
But that wasn't to be the end of the story. My teacher said I had done really well at the Workshop and that he thought I had a natural talent for Clairvoyance. Because of this he wanted to invite me to join his advanced group which met once a week. He assured me I wouldn't be out of my depth.
To say I was amazed by this is an understatement.
I trusted him enough to know he wouldn't put me in a situation he didn't think I could deal with. And because of this I accepted.
Afterwards I asked my angels would I be able to cope with this advanced group.
Their answer was I would never be given anything I couldn't handle.
The funny thing was earlier that day they had warned me to be prepared for anything. I honestly believe they knew this was going to happen but they didn't tell me.
This goes to prove that we may think we know what our future holds, but in all honesty we don't. Nothing is written in stone.
When our plans changes always remember they are changing for the better, even though it may not seem that way at the time.
We are never given anything we can't handle.

Mum and dad's anniversary
Today is mum and dad's anniversary. They may not be here, but March 26th will always be their anniversary to me.
They had their ups and downs, but what couple doesn't. For nearly 20 years they ran their business together. At times their love for each other didn't seem very obvious, but when mum was taken ill that love was visible for all to see.
I say they may not be here, but they are.
Only the other week I heard dad calling me. He is starting to make his presence felt now he is in spirit.
Mum is always appearing in dreams to me. These dream visitations happen quite regularly.
I am hoping that in time dad will communicate with me in this way too.
Those who love you never truly leave you. They will make their presence known. It may be through a medium, dream visitations, smells or even appearances.
When it does happen don't think you are imaging it. Accept it and know your loved one is with you.

How was your weekend?
How was your weekend?
Mine was quite amazing.
On Saturday my first book was published. My parents always encouraged me and my one regret is they were not here to see it.
Then yesterday I became a Goodreads Author.
I am just an ordinary person like you. Since I was little I've been aware of the angels and many things have happened to me. These events are nothing to be frightened of and I hope my book shows they can happen to anyone at anytime.
I'm not sure what my week ahead holds but if it is anything like the weekend it is going to be great.
