The Grand Budapest Hotel

I went and saw the new Wes Anderson film. It's been getting good reviews. Personally, I was disappointed. Especially after Fantastic Mr Fox and Moonrise Kingdom. It's another one of his films, like The Darjeeling Limited, where I just don't feel a connection to the story. Or the characters. There never seemed to be a true, emotional moment anywhere. And for the first time I actually found his style to be a bit grating.

I liked that drawing from February 18, so I'll see if it works as a story, a vampire version of Night of the Hunter.
