ARC Review Team Sign-Ups
So as promised, I am forming an ARC Review Team as part of my upcoming Street Team called Bennett’s Babes (more to come on that later!)
The ARC Review Team will be provided with a free Advanced Reading Copy of my book in exchange for you reading and posting an honest review during the week of the books’ release. There are guidelines to meet and they are attached below. If you think you’d like to join my ARC Review Team, review the guidelines to make sure you qualify before submission. We are going to announce this team fairly quickly, because I’m anxious to get my ARC’s of Off Chance out to you. Deadline to submit is September 30, 2013.

BENNETT’S BABES ARC REVIEW TEAM GUIDELINES
Updated: 9/23/13
I will set up a list of active reviewers genuinely interested in reading and reviewing my books who I will automatically send free e-copies of my books to via an ARC (advanced reader copy) before the book is released. From there, I ask that all active reviewers post their review of the book sometime within 7 days of the release. I will have the ARC’s out to the reviewers usually 2-4 weeks before the release day.
This will be a small group, of no more than ten reviewers. In order to be on the review team, you must have read at least one of my books and left a review. Because there are limited spots available, preference will be given to those people who have read and reviewed all of my books.
I only ask that you post honest reviews. If you truly do not enjoy the book, I’ll leave that up to you as to whether or not you want to do an actual post. I appreciate everyone’s opinion, and although some authors ask you not to post anything less than a 3 star review, I will respect your decision to do so if that is important to you.
If you don’t post a review during the release week, I’ll assume either you didn’t enjoy the book or you have time commitments that prevent you from reviewing. Either way, I’ll completely understand. You’ll be moved off the active reviewer list for future books with no hard feelings, opening up for someone on the waiting list who has time.
Amazon is the posting destination of choice as it has the biggest platform, and from there, additional posting on Barnes & Noble, iTunes, and Goodreads is most welcome.
You don’t need to post a lengthy book report, but at the same time, if you don’t want your review to get voted down and possibly flagged by customers, you don’t want to just write the minimum 20 words with super generic, unhelpful things either. I caution this because Amazon is on the lookout for fake reviews, so please make your review helpful to others. I would appreciate it if you did not put spoilers in your reviews, or if you do, to please clearly state that at the beginning of your review. You should identify in your review that you were given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Lastly, this goes without saying but by agreeing to be on my review team, you legally agree via your consent not to participate in any aspect of ebook pirating of my book. I put a lot of hard work into my novels and I am trusting my review team to protect my work.

It’s a waiting game now! To tide you over, here is a teaser scene from Off Course.
Stepping up close to her again, I grab her chin between my thumb and forefinger so her gaze stays locked on me. I swear a feel a sizzle of electricity from the contact of my skin on hers. “That I do. Five years ago, I kissed a girl that was fresh, and young, and innocent… and so not ready for the likes of me.” Releasing her chin, I rake my eyes down her body and slowly move them up again. I like what I see…a lot, and I take pleasure in the fact that her breath hitches just a little under my perusal. “You’re all grown up, Renner. I’m bettin’ you could handle me now.”
She lets out a shaky breath, and there it is… her eyes go dark. The knowledge that my words alone do that to her thrills me beyond measure. I can’t wait to see what type of response my tongue can get.
“Now, let’s go get that drink and we can see just how well can you handle me.”
The blinding smile I expect to get from her doesn’t come. Instead, her eyes lighten back up and there’s now a scowl on her forehead.
Putting her hands on my chest, she pushes me back away from her. “In your dreams, O’Bradaigh,” she sneers. “I may have been stupid enough to fall for your sexy lines before, but you’re right… I am all grown up now and I have better things to do than waste my time with an arrogant musician.”
I stare at her for just a moment, stunned she’s turning me down. Then I throw my head back laughing. She glares at me and crosses her arms across her chest. She clearly doesn’t get my amusement but I am indeed amused with her. If she wants to play hard to get, I have time to play.
Reaching out, I wrap my hand around her throat, skimming my thumb softly along her jaw. “My cailín álainn has some claws. I’m going to enjoy them when they’re sunk deep into my back while I’m riding you.”
“Aaaagghhh,” she screams in frustration, at the same time knocking my hand away. I take a step back for good measure, just in case she decides to let a fist or foot fly my way. “You are a conceited, egotistical, jackass and the only place my claws will be sunk will be in your balls if you try to touch me again.”
I give her a well-calculated smirk. “Now that thought just turns me on, Renner. You have a gift for words.”
In all actuality, it doesn’t turn me on… thinking about her ripping my balls to shreds, but I’m having far too much fun teasing her.
Now… that lovely high and angry blush she’s wearing? Yes, that’s turning me on. I wonder if her cheeks will get that red when she comes. I bet she blushes all the way down to her breasts.
Taking a deep breath, Renner looks me squarely in the eyes and grits out. “Just do me a favor. Stay away from me. I’m not interested.”
She spins around and heads for the door. Just as she reaches it, I call out, “That sounds like a challenge to me, Renner. I’m looking forward it.”

I looked around the basement, sipping whatever concoction some guy poured out of a cooler. He called it a ‘magic potion’ and I hoped that didn’t mean he rufied it. I don’t know how Monica talked me into this.
A horde of girls clad in nothing more than lingerie pushed past me as if I were nothing more than another one of the paddles on the paneled wall. I tried to pull back but then I came face to chest with a set of abs and felt all of the magic potion cascade down my cardigan.
I gasped once the cold liquid soaked through both my layers and hit my skin.
“Too bad, that was such a nice sweater…” A deep voice said.
I looked up, all the way past the chiseled six pack and to a pair of cool blue eyes. “Maybe you should just take it off up in my room and I can help you dry off.” He leaned in, his full lips right on my ear. “Or make you wetter.”
My breath caught in my throat, rendering me speechless. Luckily my best friend Monica jumped between us, pushing the guy back so I got a full view of him and realized he was only wearing a loin cloth and a large smile.
“Down John Boy.” She scowled at him and then turned to me, almost knocking her beret off. “What the hell happened to you?”
“I-I-I spilled my drink.”
Monica’s eyes narrowed as she looked down at the red liquid soaking through my gray sweater. She whipped her head around to the loin cloth clad guy. “Was this your fault? Are you trying to get my friend naked?”
He held up his hands, a cockeyed grin on his face. “Purely an accident, Lib.”
Ah, now I knew where I’d seen him before. He had come into the coffee shop we worked at a few times. I don’t think he even glanced in my direction more than to hand me his student ID to pay, but was always calling Monica ‘Lib.’ I’m guessing because she was an extreme liberal.
Monica’s boyfriend, the governor’s son Trey Chapman, pushed through the crowd. When I usually saw him he was polished in dress pants and a dress shirt, but his Halloween costume was nothing more than a pair of American flag boxers, a dress shirt, and some gray hairspray. He looked ridiculous. I still don’t know how Monica talked him into the Clinton and Lewinsky couples costumes.
“Hey, I’ve been looking for you.” He slipped his arm around Monica’s waist. “What’s going on here?”
“Your big brother here spilled a drink on Melanie to try and get her naked.”
“Hey!” John yelled.
“It wasn’t his fault,” I piped in. “It’s crowded here and he just ran into me. It’s fine.”
“Fine?” Monica raised her eyebrows. “That Hermione costume you’ve been wearing since middle school is covered in ever clear and Kool aid. That’s not fine.”
“I haven’t worn this since middle school!” Okay, truth was, it was my go-to costume. I bought it for the first movie’s midnight showing and wore it for every movie opening and Halloween since.
“Whatever.” Monica turned her head to Trey and tugged on his shirt. “You can just wear Trey’s shirt.”
