Amazing fight/ battle scenes The romance element didn’t take up too much of the plot Mystery / Plot Twists Interesting new world/setting and magic system

This is a part of my ATLA AU in which Meira is a waterbender from the Northern Water Tribe. I chose this tribe mostly because of their whole ‘women can’t bend or be warriors’ complex and I thought that matched Meira’s struggle in like the very beginning of the book.
