I got to meet the incredible @sararaasch today, and it was one of the best evenings ever.

To start, I got to hear a half hour presentation over writing novels and I got to heard more about the Snow Like Ashes books, which was amazing.

Then, they had a drawing for free copies of Ice Like Fire and Snow Like Ashes. My name got pulled and I got to get a paperback of Snow Like Ashes, which I previously could only get through libraries, which was incredible.

After that while I waited in line for the book signing, I got to eat snowflake and chakram shaped cookies, and I will say, chakrams are delicious.

Finally, the moment came, and I got to go get my copies of Snow Like Ashes and Ice Like Fire signed. I was FREAKING out, I was so excited, and I got to give Sara my drawing of Elsa and Meira together, along with a sketch I made of Ceridwen and Meira.

It’s been an hour and a half and I still cannot believe it all happened. Sara is a fantastic person and a gifted writer, and if you haven’t read the Snow Like Ashes books yet then I highly recommend you do!
