Let's Get to Know a Guy Named Glenn: Music
Punk rocker, hair metal enthusiast, member of the KISS army and wanna-be member of the E Street Band!
I have a past in the punk rock world. I sing, strum a guitar, and write a few tunes. Google "The New 45" or "Glenn Theory and the Portland All-Stars" and you'll find some youtube or myspace propaganda.
My first concert was Guns N' Roses in 1993 in Portland, Maine. Who knew that would be the last tour to feature both Axl and Slash! Lucky me. I've seen Green Day ('97) Rancid ('04) and most recently Bruce Springsteen at the TD Garden in Boston last March! I also got to see Oasis at the Orpheum Theater in 2000 (awesome!).
I love Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Masked Intruder, Cobra Skulls, and Aerosmith. And finally- Elvis and the Stones over the Beatles and the Who.
Sorry for the messy entry, that's just my way :)

Let's Get to Know a Guy Named Glenn: Movies
I am a horror author, but let the record show, horror movies are not my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I do love them, but I would choose a Tarantino film, or a Will Ferrell comedy over any blood and guts film. Is that blasphemes? Beats me, and I don't really care. Rather than focus on the billions of terrible horror films out there, let me give you a list of movies that stir my brain and make me happy:
Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Inglourious Basterds, Star Wars (the original trilogy), Good Will Hunting, Step Brothers, Talladega Nights, The Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, The Departed, Lethal Weapon 1-3, Grosse Point Blank, the Big Lebowski, Dirty Harry, Mr. Deeds, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer, Napoleon Dynamite, Tombstone...and the list goes on and on.
I love great characters and great stories. Something horror films usually lack. That's not to say I don't have a collection of scary movies, I do. They just don't stir my creative juices as well as the list of films above.
If you have any thought on this, feel free to let me know. Now, I must get back to watching Hitler burning up in a little french theater.
Adios
