10 Years of Stride
It's the 10-year anniversary of Jonathan Stride!
Stride first appeared in my debut novel IMMORAL in 2005. Since then, Stride, Serena, and Maggie have evolved and changed in multiple thrillers up to the most recent novel, THE COLD NOWHERE.
Check out all of the Stride books at this special page devoted to the Stride series.

Pick of the Week
Do you have a copy of WEST 57 yet?
The Pioneer Press just named my latest book one of two "picks of the week," calling it "Freeman's snappy new chick-lit romp....a bright, fun read."

I had a wonderful note from a reader yesterday who thanked me for breaking out of the thriller genre from time to time. He reminded me -- which I'd forgotten! -- that Ian Fleming didn't just write James Bond. He also wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
And remember James Clavell of Shogun fame? He did the screenplay for To Sir, With Love.
So even if you're a dyed-in-the-wool thriller fan, give WEST 57 a try. We need a little sexy, romantic humor in our lives from time to time. And don't worry...Stride will be back on March 8 in GOODBYE TO THE DEAD.

Booklist on WEST 57
Have you read my latest book, WEST 57...?
This book is totally different from my dark, intense thrillers -- but regardless of what genre you read, I think you'll enjoy WEST 57. Booklist -- the publication of the American Library Association -- just chimed in with their review:
"Freeman, better known as thriller writer Brian Freeman, takes a second turn at chick lit (after penning 2009's The Agency as Ally O'Brien), with just the right mix of zany humor, sexy romance, and cheeky jabs at the publishing world. There's even a fair bit of intrigue, as everyone races to find out the real story behind the best-selling book (it's a doozy!). Fans of classic single-in-the-city chick lit will find much to enjoy here."
You can get the book now in paperback or e-book at a great price. Don't miss it! And if you usually get your books at the library, be sure to ask them to order you a copy.

WEST 57: My New Novel
I promised readers a big surprise this summer...and here it is: I have an all-new novel available TODAY!
A few years ago, I released a very different kind of book called THE AGENCY.
PEOPLE Magazine called it "entertaining...witty...a delight." Romantic Times called it "one fantastic novel." The Chicago Tribune called it "perfectly irresistible."

Since then, readers have been asking me when I would release a new book in the same style. Well, it's finally here!
WEST 57 is available in e-book or paperback at a great low price. Click to find out more about the book right here:
