LOVE IN THE SHADOWS Complete

I'm very excited to announce I've just submitted the copy edits and approved the final cover of Love in the Shadows . I can't wait for the book to be released in January. This was one hell of a FUN tale to tell. Huge thanks to Stacia Seaman for going above-and-beyond on this one.

Jennifer Hawkins Series Update

I'm very excited to announce I've reached the halfway mark in Tanglewood, the first novel in a new five-book series centering around the life and loves of a Chicago-based investigative journalist named Jennifer Hawkins.

In Tanglewood, Jennifer goes undercover as a new teacher at posh private boarding school to investigate the mysterious death of a popular student.

 I'm working on novel number three today, Backstrokes, a romance about a classical pianist and a lifeguard falling in love. Here's the classic dance song that sparked the inspiration years ago. I'm happy this love story will finally be told. The novel will be available from Bold Strokes Books in June 2014.

LOVE IN THE SHADOWS To Become A Trilogy

I am very excited to announce that my upcoming novel Love in the Shadows , will in fact be the first book in a trilogy. The story will continue in The Beautiful Lie and The Edge of Desire.

Love in the Shadows won't be available until January from Bold Strokes Books . In the meantime, here's some info about the book and the fantastic song that inspired the series.

Quintin Pearson, an American living in London, has spent the last two years working as a magazine staff writer and nursing a broken heart. Craving a change in his quiet life, Quintin accepts an invitation to an exclusive party hosted by Regina Bremington, the U.S. ambassador’s glamorous wife. At the party, terror takes over when the electricity suddenly goes out and the ambassador is assassinated. In the safety of a dark bedroom, Quintin meets a mysterious stranger named Luca, an Italian spy. Even though the two men can’t see each other, a spark is ignited that soon becomes a mutual lust. Within days, Luca arranges for them to meet again at a remote seaside town in Belgium.
