Did the CIA kill Hugo Chavez?

Last month, I spent a week researching the JFK assassination for an upcoming novel and learned some intriguing things about the CIA. I approached my research like all good reporters are trained to do -- with an open mind. In the past, I’ve easily dismissed conspiracy theories since there always seems like a more logical explanation than the one presented. But that’s the game, right? Present a plausible theory that withstands most scrutiny while the true intent is much more diabolical.

Armstrong, Livestrong, and Consequences

[image error]Now that Lance Armstrong has given up the charade that he never used performance enhancing drugs to cheat his way to fame, fortune, and cycling immortality, what can we glean from this human tragedy best suited for a Shakespearean drama? That drugs are bad? That cheating is wrong? That nothing is as it seems in the world of sports?

Nope. The most important lesson is something we know but rarely consider: there are always consequences for our choices.

Ever Have a Dream?

Just for fun every few weeks, I like to ask my daughters what they want to be when they grow up. They are naturally entertaining and I know this is low-hanging fruit when it comes to kids, but it's fun to note how their dreams can shift like the wind.
