WEEKEND WRITING WARRIORS #78
Now I know the Groundhog day phenomenon is real. We are repeating 2020!Having said that, my husband and I are actually quite lucky in the fact we are both retired, so we don't have to be 'out' there unless we need and/or want to. On the first of January, I did all my shopping for three months - the butcher just about had a fit because I bought over 25 pounds of lean ground and loads of chicken, stewing beef, and a couple of roasts. Mary looked into the twinkling eyes of Elizabeth. She gave her a quick hug, noticing almost immediately her slightly rounded belly.
“Are congratulations in order?” she asked in a low tone.

Then Grammarly pops up in my email and tells me how many words I've written this week, and how many I've written since I've started using the program a little over four months ago.
