GOAL OF 50K MET & EXCEEDED

I'm thrilled. Absolutely thrilled to announce that as of this very  minute, CATHERINE is at 54,402 words... and I'm not completely finished. Whoo Hoo!

I'm still fleshing out the final chapters, adding more angst and inner thoughts, but the meat and potatoes are on the page and everything else is all fluff.

At this time, I've set the publication date as May 19.

Why?

Why do women fall in love with Fitzwilliam Darcy of Pemberley? He was proud, arrogant, dismissive of the common folk of Meryton and practically wrinkled his nose in the presence of Mrs. Bennet and her multitude of daughters.

WEEKEND WRITING WARRIORS #57


Welcome everyone. We had a rough week in the Barr household. Four out of the five of us came down with the flu - HARD. In over three days I lost twelve pounds. Now I truly know where they came up with the saying, 'weak as new born kitten'. I have't been this sick since 1985. I wanted to shed a few pounds before my big class reunion next month, but NOT like this. Anyway, we are all on the mend and can get on with living a joyous life.

WEEKEND WRITING WARRIORS #56
