Calatrava’s World Trade Center Transportation Hub (PATH) Station
The area around the new World Trade Center brings back so many memories. The twin towers had been one of my favorite parts of the city, and I remember visiting them a year before the terrorist attacks which took them down.

From the Vessel to New York City’s High Line
The area around Hudson Yards is being purposefully revitalized from the rough, industrial zone it used to be, into an attractive spot for residents and businesses. Probably even more of a draw than Vessel, is a park called the High Line.

NYC Views from Bar 54, Including the Chrysler Building and Times Square
This trip to New York City was our first big excursion since the beginning of the pandemic, and also the first time since we had been back to Manhattan in over five years. To celebrate, we splurged a bit and booked a room at the Hyatt Centric, right next to Times Square.

Summit One Vanderbilt – A Mind-Bending View Over New York City
Found on the top floors of the Vanderbilt One building, which sits atop Grand Central Station, the location is about as perfect as can be. There are unmatched views of the the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, and you have a great view of Central Park along with the skinny, ultra-expensive residential towers that line it.

A Bike Trip to Paterna, on the Trail of Almodóvar
A bike trip from Valencia to Paterna - We've mentioned several times how incredible the city of Valencia is for those enjoy biking. The city and its surrounding areas are nearly flat, with over 100 kilometers of dedicated paths, as well as the Turia Riverbed Park which spans Valencia from east to west.

Art in Valencia During the Pandemic
One of the strangest periods in our life was the 2020 lockdown in Spain, during which residents weren't even allowed to leave their homes except for grocery shopping. For weeks, we stayed indoors -- hanging out on Zoom with friends and family, watching loads of TV series and movies, and playing board games.
