Totally Irrational Thinking
Jack makes a good case for electronic books. As someone who is registered blind and unable to read print, I would add to Jack’s list the fact that Kindle titles have text to speech enabled which means that those who are unable to read print can have books read out loud to them. There are, however advantages to traditional (paper) books. Paperbacks and Hardbacks are a pleasure to handle which does, I believe help to explain why many people still value them. 2 friends (both under 30) prefer paper ...

I was pleased to receive the below review of my collection of poetry, More Poetic Meanderings:
“I am a big fan of Kevin’s poems and I was excited to hear he had another poem book out. I couldn’t wait to meander through it. It is different from my usual reads and I think that is why I like them so much. For me they add a sense of peace and calm and helps me to restore my energy. There are so many wonderful poems throughout this book, my favourite being Nature and my favourite room but they are ...
Party Girl
A poet rhymes
Of party time.
Hyped at night
On dusty lines
And cigarettes,
She feels unreal,
But never forgets
Her lines.

“I always find collections of poems by this author to be an interesting and thought-provoking selection of musings, and this collection was no exception. I also always inevitably have my favourites, which in this case were “My Coffee Grows Cold” and “Poetry In Rain” with “My Dog (Still Young)” being another I really enjoyed. I also thought it was fun seeing the versions of some of t...

Audrey Driscoll’s Review of More Poetic Meanderings
“Short lines and few words convey often vivid images. The poems show the poet moving through his days, passing by gravestones, feeling rain falling, hearing birdcalls. Almost always, the last line is a reminder that death comes to all and life’s pleasures are fleeting.
“Nature” expresses this well with “…the bu...
