“Bully Me” Book
Bullying is, as Paul says a disease. I think Paul’s proposed book is an excellent idea and will certainly read it. Kevin
Hi friends and visitors,
For the longest time I have thought about writing my first non-fiction book about my own very real journey through life. I had thought my life not interesting enough for a book, but thinking back on all my experiences, there are some very important lessons to be learned and I have, after all, had an ext...
“Dalliance; A Collection Of Poetry And Prose” Will Soon Be Available In Print
On 23 April I wrote about the release of an expanded edition of my book, “Dalliance; A Collection Of Poetry And Prose”, (http://newauthoronline.com/2015/04/23/an-expanded-edition-of-dalliance-a-collection-of-poetry-and-prose-is-available-for-download/). In that post I mentioned that a print edition of “Dalliance” is in preparation, (I hope this will be available in May 2015).
Given the growth in ebook sales why, you may ask have I decided to produce a print edition of “Dalliance”?
There are s...

One Of Those Weeks
It has been one of those weeks when, as the bard of Avon says, troubles come not in single files but in batttalions! On Monday the “f” key which usually resides comfortably on my laptop suddenly developed a wander lust and in a bold bid for freedom detached itself from it’s fellow keys. The wanderer is now confined in an envelope in my desk drawer which should, I hope curtail any further yen it may develop to head for the open road! I’m typing this using an external USB keyboard which is work...

Authors’ income ‘at breaking point’ – BBC News
I guess the situation is somewhat similar to actors, with most barely scraping a living while a lucky few derive a good income from their occupation. Kevin

The Dog in the Garden – a guest post by Kenneth Weene.
Thank you to Kenneth Weene for the below guest post. (You can find a brief biography of Kenneth at the end of this article).
The Dog in the Garden
a reminiscence by Kenneth Weene
What a beautiful garden. We sat on the well-cushioned wrought iron chairs waiting for our hostess to bring tea.
“Won’t you take tea and some scones?” Linda asked before we had even signed the guestbook. “The garden is lovely this time of year.”
And it was, a springtime profusion of color, growth, and scent. Enough to...
Poetic Enrichment – a guest post by Kay Kauffman
Many thanks to Kay for the below guest post. If you are interested in doing a guest post please contact me at newauthoronline (at) gmail . com
Hello! My name is Kay, and I’m a poet. I don’t just love writing poetry, though – I also love reading it. My poetry habit began when I was a child and I discovered Shel Silverstein’s work (if you haven’t read A Light in the Attic or Where the Sidewalk Ends, add them to your to-be-read list pronto). When I was ten, I discovered Joan Walsh Anglund’s work...

Disclosure: I will receive 5 of Paul’s ebooks free as thanks for having interviewed him.
Interview With Author Paul G. Day
At what age did you begin to write?I wrote a bit at school, but nothing too serious. I really didn’t begin writing until I was thirty. I was always good at stories and had a fair bit to do with young people, so I combined those two passions into writing. But, it wasn’t until I went to university in 1996 that...
Publisher Sued By Goebbel’s Family Over Diaries
The descendents of Joseph Goebbels are suing the publishers of a book about the notorious Nazi propaganda chief due to them not having obtained permission to quote from his diaries. The publishers argue it would be unethical to pay compensation to the descendants of a war criminal and are contesting the case which is due to be heard in Germany on 23 April. You can find the details here (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3044620/Family-Hitler-s-propaganda-chief-Joseph-Goebbels-sue-publis...
