Awaking As The Clock Struck Midnight
Awaking as the clock struck midnight
I saw a young woman in white.
When I said, “are you a vampire?”
She replied, “no, I’m the squire.
And this dress is far too tight!
When A Young Lady Whose Name Is Rose
when a young lady whose name is Rose
Composed a poem about crows,
A priest called Paul
Said, “how angels do fall!”,
Which puzzled that young lady Rose.
Humorous Saturday
When a young lady whose name is Skinner
Invites me round for dinner,
We drink lots of wine
But we never dine,
So I’m growing ever thinner!
—
A young lady whose name is White
Says one day she might.
I’m waiting still
And wonder will …
Do you think she might?

On my way through the churchyard at midnight
I met a young woman in white.
When I said, “who are you?”
She replied, “believe me, its true,
I’m a girl who dresses in white!

When A Poet Whose Name Is Rose

Composed a poem about Toes,

Beautiful women imply that if men purchase certain products they will obtain the girl of their dreams, while other comercials exh...
There Was A Young Lady Named Jane
There was a young lady named Jane
Who purchased a risqué domain.
It’s address was so rude
And her website so crude,
That I refuse to name that domain!
Issues
Baby wipes and tissues
Hint at issues.
The carpet has a hump
Where the sweeper sweeps.
And she keeps
Unspoken issues
Within
And the bin
Holds their despair.

Chore

So far as my poetry is concerned, most of my promoting consists of posting examples of my work on this site (kmorrispoet.com) and, by so doing bringing my writing to the attention of a wider audience.
Notwithstanding the publication of examples of my poetry on this site (which provides me with pleasure as I kn...
My Site’s Address Has Changed to kmorrispoet.com
On 17 February, I wrote a post about changes to my website, which can be found here https://kmorrispoet.com/2019/02/17/changes-to-newauthoronline/.
