When a Young Lady Serving Curry and Rice

When a young lady serving curry and rice
Said, “this establishment is no place for vice!”.
Her friend Miss Hocking
Searched for a stocking.
And the spice it was really quite nice!

Awaking in a Pool Full of Seals

Awaking in a pool full of seals
I saw a young lady in heels.
When I said, “am I drunk!”,
She replied, “as a holy monk,
You should avoid pools full of seals!”

A new poetry book : Behind Closed Doors

Robbie's inspiration

I am delighted to announce that my new poetry book, Behind Closed Doors, is available on Amazon as an ebook. This book includes some of my cake artworks that were designed to share a specific message about lockdown, overuse of technology, global warming, and plastic pollution.

Whilst Walking Through Thunder and Heavy Rain

Whilst walking through thunder and heavy rain
I met a young lady named Jane
Who said, “oh kindly fella

After food and wine.
She had to confess

All kinds of paid

She was
Down on her luck.
And a lonely man
Can easily book
A discreet meet.

The Crocodile

Whilst swimming in the great river Nile
I met with a hungry old crocodile.
When he opened his jaws wide
I slipped a big bell inside.
Now he chimes, which makes people smile!

A Short Rhyme

A short rhyme
Of eternal rain
By a poet
Who spent time
In an ancient wood
On a summer’s day.

When a Young Lady Wearing Fashionable Shoes

When a young lady wearing fashionable shoes
Got drunk on some very strong booze,
They said to her, “dear Rose,
May we suggest that some clothes
Would go well with those fashionable shoes!”

The Potentate

One of my earlier poems.

K Morris - Poet

Lucifir came for a potentate bold.

He said “you have had power and wealth untold,

Now you must render me your immortal soul”.

The potentate sighed,

And made reply,

“My soul it died,

you will find nothing inside.

It perished long ago,

And vanished like the summer snow.

Once I had ideals,

and yearned to build utopia in green fields.

I have waded in much blood,

And sacrificed the weak for the common good.

My soul you had long ago.
