A little break,but kind of still around

Just a quick heads up - if I am not replying / commenting / messaging that fast I apologise - life has been so busy of late. It usually is, but it's gotten to the point that I really need a vacation (can't do Arnie's voice from T2, but you get my meaning!).

Most of my time is spent teaching martial arts, my reading / writing and family stuff is everything else. You know I think you are all awesome, I just may not be able to reciprocate that awesomeness all of the time.

That said...I will stil read books and post reviews....and you might know what they say about kung fu *masters* of a certain level...sometimes we just have to wander the mountains in China searching for enlightenment.

Haven't been to China for a few years, so I think I will stick to the beach this time. See you again soon

Book Review: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Mockingjay had some serious living up to do. After The Hunger Games, and Catching Fire, the issue for Suzanne Collins was how to reel readers in for a third time. The possibility of another Hunger Games taking place seemed implausible, and so we are taken on a street level tour of District 13 in this book.

The rebellion appears to be in full swing, but the Capitol have a weapon in the form of Peeta. They use him in the same way that Katniss, for a large part of this book, seems to be used.
