Wow - it's been a little over a year since the shit-storm hit with "Black Balled," right? And what a great year it has been. Recognized by several blogs and voted by many as "Best M/M Read of 2015," and even "Best READ of 2015," Eva and I have been so honored that people chose to read our book in spite of the false rumors and suppositions about the content, and that the majority decided that nobody would tell them what to read.

Excerpt

"It's open," I call out, expecting Cain to traipse in so that we can have a group huddle here. So, I'm surprised when the door opens slowly and Brittany pokes her head in.

"Paige, I…uh, I got my period. I don't have any…supplies," she finishes, a soft flush coloring her fair cheeks.

"Oh, of course," I reply, throwing the covers off as I get out of bed. I see her eyes widen as she takes in my nightly attire. Thong and a wife beater. I'm not going to allow her to make me feel uncomfortable in what I wear to bed. Shit, she's lucky. I usually sleep in the buff during the summer.

I go into the bathroom off the hall and open the linen closet. I reach up on the top shelf and pull a box of tampons down and set them on the vanity top.

"Here you go," I say, "do you need anything for cramps, honey?"

She mumbles something that sounds like "ardy galen," which I presume is Swedish and, obviously, something nasty or she would've used English.

"Pardon me?" I ask, giving her a bewildered look.

"Those are tampons…"

"Well…yeah, so?"

"I don't use those. I'm still a virgin," she snaps.
And I'm totally befuddled. I think back and I'm pretty damn sure I used tampons before I'd ever become sexually active. Obviously, Brittany is under a flawed impression.

"Oh no, honey. No worries, you see, the hymen is--"

"I. Am. Not. Losing. My. Virginity. To. A. Tampon," she snaps very succinctly, crossing her arms in front of her and taking a defensive stance.

Alrighty then.

"Well, I don't use pads. This is all we have here at the moment."

"Of course you don't," she replies, glancing down at my black, silk thong. "What would you stick it to?"
