How Evernote's Calendar and Tasks are helping me keep up with my work

I’m already working on a video explaining in detail the system I use to keep up with my students, but before that, I have to share some basic information with you.

If you prefer to visualize all the explanations below, I suggest watching the companion video .

Let’s start with a template I tailored for my needs over the years and how Evernote's Calendar and Tasks are making it even better. Two or three days before a meeting with a prospect, I create a new note from the template and title it with the...

Easy access to all your personal documents

I’m the organized person in my family, so I have a notebook with everybody’s IDs, passports, diver licenses, and other documents like insurance, details of bank accounts, and even the covid-19 vaccine certificate. Think of it as a reference binder.

Each document is in an Evernote note. The title of the note has the name, for example, Passport, and, depending on what type of document, I also write the number of that document. If you stop to think about it, most of the time, all we need is a number...

Avoid Ikea’s maze with a little help from Evernote

It is just me, or do you also find Ikea stores hard to navigate in a fast way? What if I tell you there’s an easy way to do it?

Here’s how I use Evernote to avoid the maze and go straight to the self-serve area.

The Ikea website has everything we need: measurements, manual, etc. There’s even the size of the box that you can use to make sure it will fit in your car. But, the most relevant information you’ll need from there is the item location at the self-service area. And that’s why, in my case, i...

I love this sticker.

I love this sticker. It’s a great idea and a conversation starter. So many people started talking to me at coffee shops because of it. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, Evernote doesn’t sell them anymore. But fortunately, I have saved a good number of them.

Alexa’s voice…

I’ve been using Google Home for so many years and recently got an Echo to test Amazon’s Assistant. After some weeks, I’m still amazed by Alexa’s voice. She’s so calm and elegant.

Rua de Santa Catarina

Last month, after so many months in lockdown, I finally got fully vaccinated against the Corona-19, and now I’m gradually starting to enjoy simple things again. My wife and I went to some of Porto’s popular touristic sites past weekend, but something was off. No busy people walking around, no crowds on most streets 🤔

Will the world ever get back to how it was before?
