Prompt Post #1

So, I recent received 642 Things to Write About by The San Francisco Writers’ Grotto from my girlfriend’s Mother and I’ve been doing a few. It’s been a pretty fun way to exercise my creative muscles along with writing daily rather than once a week or semi-annually. (The latter statement is a joke, at least […]

Paper In Hand The World Falls At Your Feet (Sort of)

I’ve thought about this whole feeling of being a ‘college graduate’. And I’ve switched up my rhetoric now to say that instead of saying, “I double major in English: Writing and Philosophy” I now say, “I have a BA degree in English with a concentration in Writing and a BA degree in Philosophy.” In some […]

Doing Things Yourself

This past year of school has taught me at least one vital lesson, which I hope to apply to the rest of my days as an individual. This lesson is really rather simple, if you can do it yourself; do it yourself. Now this may sound really callous and harsh at first, but in reality […]

New Steps

Well, I’m at home now for the summer after my graduation from college and I won’t lie it’s a strange feeling. It’s something of a new canvas waiting to be painted or a new blank page to be scribbled on, I guess all the usual clichés of new beginnings too. I have Grad. School waiting […]

A Return Back

Alright, so I know I am worst when it comes to keeping a blog which I apologize, but I am officially back here. Well, at least for the next few months for summer. This past semester at university was by far the busiest I have had and I guess that is qualified by it being […]

Some Murmurings On Love as an Act

I was discussing the other day on a facebook status of a friend how incredible the book, A Severe Mercy is. (If you haven’t read it or heard of it, follow the link and I positively guarantee you’ll want to read it and it’ll change your life.) It’s one of my favorite books and one [...]

The Thing With Writing…

Honestly it’s a pain in the ass, like seriously it’s a pain in the ass at times. Sure, I mean I enjoy how flexible at times the English language can be at times, but trying to write (most of all trying to write well) can be the most difficult thing to do. I mean, sure [...]

Cappin’ 2012 Off

Well, I don’t know how often I’m going to do daily posts, but I couldn’t resist not posting on the last day of 2012. I mean, it’s substantial to complete another year when you’re alive right? Sorry, if that sounded weird or strange haha. Anyways, reflecting back on this year with all the highs and [...]

The Attitudes of Writers

A few days ago I got my first tattoo. (I’ll talk about that another time, so for now I’ll remain on topic). While, I was experiencing the sensation of large needle plunged through my skin I spoke with the tattoo artist, Eric. We talked about where he went to school (An Arts School), and how he ended up dropping out, since it became too expensive and he couldn’t handle the politics of the professors any longer. Sometimes the professors would say that they would be objectively fostering their s...

What to say? What to say?

Well, this is my 5th blog to be created by me. I have such an awful habit of making them, posting for a while and then dropping them for the latest fad. I’m not going to do that anymore. This is going to be more or less a casual blog for my musings (hopefully). I recently became a (self) published author with a short story in an anthology: The Continuum. I’ll talk more about that anthology in my next post.

Otherwise, I hope you stick around for what I may talk about or may not…though I do hope...
