These tote bags will be given out at the 2014 Winter Institute the annual gathering of independent booksellers. I am so excited by this. So happy to be with such a great publisher like Candlewick Press.
So My friend Veronica Lawlor wrote this great book called “One Watercolor A Day”. It also contains work by some other great artists I have the pleasure of knowing. The watercolor artwork represented in it is outstanding, but the more outstanding thing about this book are the activities. The work that is described really gets an artist thinking about how to create and more importantly how to think. It does not dwell on technique or materials which a lot of art books can do. It dwells on how to be creative everyday and how to find the best way for you as an artist to become better. I will be recommending this book to all my friends that want to learn watercolors and how to be an artist. It is available on Amazon HERE
Check this out. The audio file of me pronouncing my name {plus a little more} is up on TeachingBooks.net. I am honored to be there with a lot of great author and illustrators. This is a great resource for teachers, as kids can listen to authors talk about their name, and about themselves.http://www.teachingbooks.net/pronounce.cgi?aid=20866
