1/2 in. pine plywood, sold in 48 foot sheets. Ibought the cheapest available – approximately $15/sheet, and paid Home Depot to cut them into 8 inch planks(5 total cuts per sheet). Orbitalsander, grit 100 Sanding block Wood filler, stainable Chalkline reel Liquid Nails subflooradhesive 16 gauge, 1.25 in. nails 125 psi compressor and nailgun Table saw Miter saw Dark Walnut stain Varathane high traffic, water based, polyurethane, satin finish

Just Getting Started

I’ve been writing for years, and doing home renovation DIY on the side. Both are tremendous work that I’m really proud of.I’ve published two books, both Young Adult, and have another on the way. I’m also working on a Middle Grade fiction novel – I’m trying to impress my kids. Wish me luck that their, “I really like it, Mommy!” isn’t just an outpouring of kindness.
