In the gentle rolling hills of Perthshirein hidden green clefts and among high treesI still sense the young men slowly walkingbearing arms and off to warmy dad among them, fresh and eagerto the haunting call of wild wood pigeonwalking, gathering, walking, walking...'till back they camebut only someheads now filled with sounds of gunand by Blair and Burrelton, Guildtown, Clunie...I still sense them all in the Perthshire sun

Branching out

No fire, no heat and not much colour

A full colour photo that looks like black and white, taken while standing in a car park waiting for the fire brigade to arrive before being allowed back into a building after yet another false alarm, while shivering in shirtsleeves as the sunlight makes a weak attempt to penetrate the cloud.

Same old new old

Back here again from another successful failure, which is hard to explain, but generally getting away with the messy attempts, while stumbling around on the path to the place that will probably never be reached; which is the way things go, perhaps, for everyone, mostly. Still, the sunshine is arriving.
