Chapter 14
This week I am wrapping up the last few chapters. Chapter 14 is finished and I believe I have two more chapters to go. I had four more chapters outlined, but have started combining a few of them to make the book flow a little smoother. This book will be short, only about 70,000 words but should be long enough to justify the $2.99 price.
Here is the progress meter – still red as I am still behind on the book.
60767 / 70000 words.
87% done!

The Farm Chapter 11
I’ve finished chapter 11 last night. I am still hoping on publishing the book the first week of February unless life pokes its head back in my door and interrupts me again.

An Out of Gas Series Short Story: Financial Crisis
I’m having a little bit of writer’s block the last few nights so I thought I would spend the time creating a cover for a short story I had in mind.
I think the story will end up around the 20,000 word mark with might make it a novelette instead. Don’t know the final numbers but
hoping to have it out by the end of February.
Readers of the first novel in the Out of Gas series will recall when Mark sat down with his wife, Kelly, and started to explain a series of economic indicators he was using to determine the strength of the economy. Mark went through his presentation several more times with various family members until he was able to convince them all that the American economy was about to suffer a major collapse due to the global fuel shortage.
Financial Crisis is a short story covering the economic presentation that Mark Turner gave his family members.

Final Dawn: Episode 1 (The Thrilling Post-Apocalyptic Series)
I’ve recently become interested in the short episode series books that are coming out on Kindle. Based on some of the previews for this series, I bought the first episode. I liked the format, although I thought it was a little short for an entire episode, but I guess the author achieved his goal of introducing the main characters and give us a hint at the reason the characters are in the bind they are in.
I believe the other episodes are longer, but I liked the introduction episode enough to skip to the end of Season 1 and buy the combo book. Save a little money on buying each episode individually.
Great work and I recommend you purchase this great series.
The Farm Chapter 10
Another update. I’ve finished chapter 10 last night. Like chapter 9, I’ve decided not to post this chapter or the following chapters online (I need something left for you to buy), but will keep you informed of my progress. I am still hoping on publishing the book the end of January or the first week of February unless life pokes its head back in my door and interrupts me again.
