Writers Websites Wednesday - Author Media

Welcome! Today I mention Author Media's blog. They say they're "help for authors timid about technology" and it's a site worth checking out. They offer a variety of tips broken out into different categories like blogging tips, platform building tips, how-to, social media tips and more.
Elsewhere on their site they do offer some for pay services such as website building and web hosting. And they did make the Writer's Digest list of 101 best websites for 2013.

Writers & Readers Websites Wednesday - Visuwords

Have a great site for you this week.
Stumbled upon Visuwords, an online graphical dictionary. In their own words, "Look up words to find their meanings and associations with other words and concepts. Produce diagrams reminiscent of a neural net. Learn how words associate."

It's a fun and instructive site for writers looking for new ideas, definitions, associations and students and readers who love words.  Even offers brain training games when you go to full screen mode. ...

Writers & Readers Websites Wednesday

This one's for the writers out there and for the curious readers who love to learn what goes into putting a story together.  It's Stephen King on Wordplay - writing about creating imagery.  It's a fairly lengthy article as online posts go - but well worth the read.

Writers And Readers Websites Wednesday- Just for Fun!

I've put up a lot of links for Wednesdays - some helpful, some reflective, some containing writing or reading tips, but this one is just for flat out fun.
Come on now, you know there's a need for recycling old books.  Much as we love to hold and caress them, many simply need a new life.
So, to that end, jump over to Su Blackwell's Lines and Colors and see the beautiful book cut sculptures.
Reader, writer, artist - doesn't matter, they'll put a smile on your face.
