Inspired by. . . the ethereal
I'm a little late to the party, but since Photo Art Friday is moving to once a month, and I've so missed Bonnie and her Galleria these last few weeks, I really wanted to participate!
I was enjoying my shady side-garden a couple of weeks ago – playing around with some self-portraits. Taking pictures of my reflection on my computer screen.
I thought this image, textured with Bonnie's starburst texture, fit the ethereal category this week:
Enjoyed a lovely day at the Biltmore mansion in Asheville, NC today. I have a lot of beautiful photos to share with you. . . soon!
But this shot seemed to fit Bonnie's theme as well.

I hope you'll click over to the Gallery and see all the fabulous works "hanging" there!
If you'll permit me a little housekeeping: Maureen, I'd be happy to answer your request, but your comment came through as a "no-reply" blogger, so I don't have your email address. Please email me directly, inspiredbyjune@gmail.com, so I can respond to you!

Inspired by. . . the sea
Inspired by . . . the sea
"... and there was no more sea." Rev 21:1
This used to make me sad. I love the sea, and wondered, "Why would Jesus get rid of the sea when He returns?"
But further on Jesus tells us, "Behold, I make all things new." And so, perhaps, there is no more old sea, but a new one for us to explore and enjoy.

It's difficult to imagine a deeper beauty. . .
Or more imaginative creatures. . .
"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." 1 Co 13:12
"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. " 1Co 2:9
All this He does, freely, out of the purest love, for our good pleasure. To reveal pieces of Himself.
In hopes that we might respond.
With adoration and praise.
Blessings,

Inspired by. . . my garden
Inspired by. . . my garden
I am so thankful for my garden. No matter how my life day is going, when I look out either of my two front windows, I see these happy blossoms and I feel -
JOY.
That is a GIFT.
I've been feeling pursued lately.
Some would say it's mercy and grace nipping at my heels. It doesn't FEEL like mercy and grace! But then, the author of Footprints in the Sand didn't feel like she was being carried during the hard times of her life either.
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life." (Psalm 23:6)
I think it is often that way. God is there, in the most profound ways, when we are least aware of Him, and when we need Him the MOST.
That is a GIFT.
A GIFT I can never repay. But I can {try to} do as He asks. I can {try to} do good, and pursue peace.
"...do good, seek peace, and pursue it." (Psalm 34:14)
Perhaps, if mercy and grace are pursuing me, and I'm pursuing peace. . .
. . . at some point we will all happily collide.
Blessings,

We love,
We receive,

We grieve.
WE REMEMBER.
