Literary Addicts October Book Hop WEDNESDAY

To celebrate the leaves changing, here are some of my favorite fall reading recommendations and a gift card to get you started!

These are my current urban fantasy series favorites. These all have an overarching storyline and a romantic subplot, because what’s life without a little love?

1. Karen Moning’s Fever Series- These books are dark, gritty and great. I could write an entire post just dedicated to Barrons.

2. Anne Bishop’s Others Series- I’ve never read anything quite like this. The charac...

First Six Chapters of Karma Free

karmacover Chapter One

People say karma’s a bitch.

Personally, I really don’t think I’m that bad, as long as you haven’t done anything wrong that is. Seriously, it’s not like I asked for this job. I wasn’t even in my right mind when I agreed to the position. I thought it would mean I could stay on Earth. I did, just not how I’d hoped.

Like all contracts, it’s the fine print that screws you, not the big fat text that offers you all the good stuff. As a lawyer, I’d spent years warning people about the fine p...

Redemption Audiobook Release And Interview With Narrator Laurel Schroeder

Redemption audiobook is now live!

61H2Z3XJ+4L._SL300_

I thought this would be a perfect time to have Laurel Schroeder, narrator of all four Alchemy books, over for a little insight into her profession.

Donna: What made you decide to get into narration?

Laurel: I recently got my MFA in Acting, and have been acting in theatre, film, and voiceover since I was 14. Narration is a perfect use of the skills I’ve developed as an actor, and it combines two of my very favorite things — acting and books! I’ve always loved rea...

Racquel Kechagias The Fire Of The Soul Blog Tour

Book_Tour_Banner

Last_Ashes_(Final_Draft)Donna: Can you tell us a little bit about your new book? And what genre would you classify them?

Racquel: I would classify my books as Paranormal Romance/Dark Fantasy. I say this for two reasons. The first is that there is a lot of romance in the story. The second reason is that there are a lot of dark themes in the books; including sexual abuse, rape and torture to name a few. There is one scene in particular in ‘Last Ashes’ that I was conscious and hesitant about including in the books. I wo...

New Book

Karma
People say karma's a...well, you know. Personally, I don't think I'm that bad.
It's not like I wanted this job. I wasn't even in my right mind when I accepted
it. Now, I'm surrounded by crazy coworkers like Lady Luck, who's a bit of a tramp,
and Murphy's Law, who's a bumbling oaf.
But the worst is Fate. He's got a problem with transfers like myself, and I have to see him constantly.
It's unavoidable. We're hunting the same man, my murderer.

I’m Alive!

Just wanted to stop by and give everyone an update. First off, I am alive! I’ve just been deep in the writing cave.

So what’s been going on? Let’s see, Laurel Schroeder has been busy narrating Redemption. Hopefully, she’ll have that completed this July. I’ll have some more promo codes when that releases and I’ll post that here.

I’ve been busy writing, which I already shared. I’ve been sort of closed mouthed about what I’ve been working on but I’m beyond excited about it. It’s urban fantasy beca...
