MIDSUMMER PUNK: A Work In Progress
What follows below is the first chapter of a novel I have had fermenting in my brainpan for some time. Provisionally titled Midsummer Punk, it’s based on the summer I struck out on my own, ending up in Los Angeles just as the Punk music scene there was beginning to assert itself. Continue reading →

Theoretical Librarian
And here's one for the Old School folks: Jean Marsh with a raygun. "Your Upstairs 'bout to be your Downstairs, bee-otch!" Cuz that's how Jean rolls. Bad ass. Continue reading →

Do Not Hump the Giant Lawn Dart
I have an exciting day ahead of me, work around the house fixing broken stuff, grocery shopping, and cleaning the turtle $@!% out of the turtle tank filter. Don't know which is the most glamorous task, but they're all the kind of thing that make my life a dynamic, non-stop party that millions envy. Continue reading →

Jinkies!

Forget It, Tad — It’s Fridaytown
Thank God for, as I posted earlier, the glow of work accomplished. Because a few seconds later, someone on the internet mentioned pie. I don't blame them. It's a good subject. And now I cling to life and hope as best I can, because my world is dark and pieless. Continue reading →

The Evil One

Not On This Plantation, Mister
The cat has had far more lap time than he has earned, which is zero, so he has no right to complain when I get up. Continue reading →

It’s Going to Have Swastikids
HAPPY HOUR IN HELL finished and off to my publishers tomorrow, then I get to start the next one. I'm really looking forward to that. It's going to have swastikids, as well as authentic bugbears. And Amazons, too. Continue reading →

To Fight the Midgard Serpent
Lock and load, people. Working day. Lots to do. Do NOT distract me with entertainment, diversion, or fun. Well, occasionally is all right. You know, a little bit. But seriously, go light on the fun. Continue reading →
