Elephants

You just have to take a look at this footage of elephants crossing a river in Africa. Enchanting...until one realizes that with the current rate of slaughter this kind of magical sight may not be happening for very much longer - so the enjoyment is bitter sweet.

Apparently scientists at Basel University, Switzerland have discovered that a full moon causes sleepless nights. Researchers found a one third drop in brain activity related to deep sleep and a drop off in levels of melatonin in their sample survey.
