Current events

So in the wake of publishing Grog VI i have been puttering with another of my ‘first scene’ projects, which is where I write a opening scene and then shelve it until inspiration follows,. Grog was a ‘first scene’ project that took ten years to reach fruition.

I also had to re-format the paperback, as they changed the submission system, and Grog VI was originally too small of a font.

Then I spent ten days trying to get my AC fixed, which was finally sorted out.

I have begun collecting ideas and inspirations for Grog VII, but it is a slow process, and I will work on other projects while waiting for inspiration and motivation to accumulate.

I am deeply humbled by the volume of sales and reviews. My thanks to my many readers.

Grog VI is done!

Grog VI has completed all editing, and has been uploaded to Amazon. The E-book should be available in a few hours, while the paperback will be a couple days.

I kept the price in line with Grog V.

Please leave a review if you like it. Reviews are hard to come by.

Update 8-4-24

Quick note, have four chapters left to edit and about an hour’s worth of admin. To give perspective, I did 14 chapters since Monday.

Grog 6 finishes second edit.

The bulk of the work is over; now I just made the changes and edits found, do a last review, and publish. I’ll try to keep it within a week.

The first edit of Grog VI is done

Which is surprising, given my war with FedEx. This has been a rough week, but G-6 is moving forward. I’ll start working on a cover while the second edit is being done. Covers are cheerless chore, and undoubtedly my choice will once again be criticized.

The rough draft of Grog VI is complete

Just finished it. Now begins the first phase of review and editing. I won’t make an estimate on how long it will take, but editing moves much quicker than the hunt for inspiration.

Update 7-1-24

Sorry for my poor blogging. All that remains of the rough draft of Grog VI is the closing, which is always hard to me, but far from insurmountable. I will update as soon as there is movement.

Update 5-25-24

Grog 6 nears completion. I am navigating the final plot arc. It is slow going, but I am making progress.

Update 4-4-24

Grog 6 is now novel length, but there final plot arc (for the novel) hasn’t yet played out. So, progress without completion.

Update 3-18-24

Grog 6 is now about 6000 words from minimum length. I had been struggling with plot arc issues and inspiration, but I am emerging from the gloom.
