New Release – The Mad Hatter’s Haunted Castle
My newest release is now available!
A new amusement park has sprung up in Hatter���s Cove just in time for Halloween and Kat Archer, reporter for the Hatter���s Cove Gazette, is dying to get into the park���s main attraction: the Haunted Castle.
The castle, a grand sprawling structure located on a tiny island off of the coast, was supposed to be the crown jewel of the park but for some unknown reason it has been declared off-limits to the general public since the park opened.
With access to the castle limited to only a few chosen guests, rumors have been running rampant around town. Most of the townsfolk blame the supposed ghost that haunts the island for keeping the castle doors closed. Kat, however, suspects that there is a far more rational explanation and is determined to get an exclusive invitation into the castle in order to investigate.
But when Madison Hatter, one of the park���s owners, is murdered by what appears to be a ghost, Kat starts to wonder if the castle���s ghost story is more than just a fancy marketing gimmick but in actuality the product of a diabolical mind.

Until then here is a short synopsis:
Anna Hart, one of the new owners of the Pink Flamingo Hotel, is in trouble. Everyone in Hatter’s Cove is talking about her. They’re convinced she knocked off her sweet and kindly old uncle for her inheritance and if that weren’t bad enough, one person seems determined to make her pay for her supposed crime.
Sylvia Sutton, her business partner and the other co-owner of the hotel, will stop at nothing to prove Anna’s guilt. Despite Anna’s love and affection for her Uncle Max, Sylvia’s convinced that Anna is a cold blooded murderer and has made it quite clear to anyone that will listen that she will put Anna behind bars if it’s the last thing she does.
So, when Anna stumbles upon Sylvia’s dead body in the middle of the night and accidentally puts her fingerprints all over the murder weapon, there seems to be only one logical thing to do . . . bury the body and pretend she didn’t see anything.
At least, that’s what her ex-boyfriend thinks. The same ex she’s loved since grade school. The same ex who left without saying good bye nine years ago. The same ex who suddenly reappeared that day. And the same ex who seems awfully anxious to get rid of the body.

I’m pleased to announce a new mystery series featuring Kat Archer, a reluctant food columnist with the Hatter’s Cove Gazette. I plan on making the town part of a series of cozy mystery novellas and novels featuring several different characters in town. First up is The St. Valentine’s Day Cookie Massacre.
