Clash of Ice and Ruin
Publication date: 12/25/23
Amazon
Banyan Thriceborn thought she and Odion Naxim were destined to defeat the Frost together. But now, he has been turned to a creature of colorless eyes and white hair, a creature cold and distant, and yet—still full of Odion’s memories, still full of Odion’s skill, and still obsessed with her.
Odion leads the Frost.
She must defeat him.
With Slate Nightwing at her side, they gather the remnants of the Quorum behind the walls of South Ridge Academy.
They’ve always known the Frost would attack them here.
The final clash awaits.

You asked for it and here it is: The story of Valdemar’s ex-wife Hiljd finding love!
This is ultimately a story about hope, trust, and decorating a farmhouse with an explosion of snowmen figurines. But if you’ve read Fake Dating the Orc Professor, you know that Hiljd has been through a lot of tragedy. And if you’ve read my books, you know that I don’t write about triumphs that aren’t hard won. Previous knowledge of other books isn’t necessary to enjoy this novella, but do understand it will contain spoilers for earlier books in the series.

A Study in Smolder

Publication date: 10/16/23
Heat.
Dragon mating frenzy, and it affects the riders who are bonded to them. Now that Banyan has bonded to Slate Nightwing’s dragon, she is caught up in that madness, and she has no objection to anything that will ease the burning ache within her.
Even being with both Odion and Slate at the same time.
Then, of course, the heat ends, and the morning dawns.
This is not what the Quorum had planned, and this romantic entanglement affects the war effort. So, the three get their orders, and they never talk about it.
Slate is sent back to the watchtowers to fight the Frost.
And Banyan and Odion are sent off alone to get their dragons to mate each other, the way things were always supposed to be.
Banyan and Odion are told, for the sake of the war, for the sake of the safety of the Trinal Kingdoms, forget about Slate.
So, they’ll forget about him.
Stopping the spread of the Frost is all that matters.
Right?

Games of Flame and Dust
Fourth Wing but edgier.
Banyan Thriceborn has always been different, but it’s never been a good thing. Until now.
When she competes in a tournament for admission to the South Ridge Dragon Academy, she gets noticed by Odion Naxim. Odion is the most promising student at the Academy, brilliant and daring, the best hope the Trinal Kingdoms has to banish the menace of the Frost.
Odion sees Banyan’s potential as a soldier. And he wants her.
Before Banyan knows it, she’s enrolled as a student at the Academy. The curriculum mostly consists of wargames—battles in an arena, students soaring on gliders, pelting each other midflight with blunt arrows.
Banyan wins all the games, but being the best doesn’t endear her to the other students. Neither does being the purported object of Odion’s desire. His heated gaze follows her through the halls of the school, even as he does nothing to pursue her.
There are whispers Banyan is meant to bond the dragon mated to Odion’s, that they will be a bonded pair who will lead the fight against the Frost.
But for now, he is her rival, the only student she struggles to defeat in the arena.
All the while, the Frost is lurking out on the reaches of Ice Mountains, in the frozen peaks, waiting to strike.
This dragon rider academy fantasy contains mf and mmf action (yes, y’all, there’s a second male love interest), dubcon by dragon heat, ice zombies, fancy scaled peen, and plenty of surprises. Trigger warnings for one scene depicting attempted noncon—not involving the hero.

The King’s Queen
Catriona is queen, mother to two children, including Herrick’s only legitimate boy child. Prince Leon, the heir to the throne.
Her husband Herrick has his mistresses.
Catriona has Elske the Formidable, Herrick’s best friend and chief advisor. Not only does her husband tolerate her infidelity, he’s aroused by it.
Both men touch her.
It’s the only way they can come close to touching each other.
When Herrick decides that he’d like to give her womb to his friend and that he’ll legitimize the child as his own, Catriona becomes pregnant with Elske’s child.
Only Elske has never wanted to get a half-fae child on a woman, and he isn’t the least bit pleased.
This is a complicated love story about one woman, one king, one fae advisor, and one ancient, antlered god. Book two contains explicit male-on-male action. This is a story of blood and pain and sex and passion and the power behind the crown.

Eloise and the Werewolves
A cerberus with three heads also has three tongues. And when they are in wolf form, those three tongues are very flexible, as Eloise discovers one night when she’s wandering in the woods in werewolf territory on a full moon. (Don’t ask. It’s her brother’s fault. Chasing her accident-waiting-to-happen brother is responsible for half of the unpleasantness in her life.)
One might think three tongues would be enough for a girl to, you know, get there. See the stars burst in her head. Fall apart. Experience the little death. Come.
But, well, Eloise doesn’t do that, at least not in front of anyone else, at least she never has.
No makes Eloise come but her.
Not that she’s really been giving anyone else the chance to try recently, of course. She and her best friend Astrid had a pact to avoid meaningless sex and to wait for the right guy to come along.
The cerberus? Not even close to the right guy.
But when the three-headed, muscular, deep-voiced, gorgeous triplets propose a mutually beneficial arrangement—just physical, no feelings—she can’t resist those tongues. Or the chance to finally hit the big O with someone other than, you know, her battery-operated-boyfriend.
Arrangements like that? They always work out fine, of course. No one ever catches feelings. No one ever gets hurt. No one ever regrets them.
The most realistic book you’ll ever read about a three-headed werewolf! Sick of stories where men magically know how to get women off when you’ve met actual men? This story is for you. (Also, contains the following: knotting, mate bites, and shifted-werewolf-on-human action)

Fractured: a monster romance
Amazon
Release date: July 13, 2023
Do not read this.
I assure you, I am not the sort of woman that anyone likes, and you will not like me.
The fact that he likes me, it should be a sign to you, in fact. He is Mr. Marlow, and there is something wrong with him. I couldn’t say what it is exactly. He doesn’t outwardly present as deformed, not truly, but he seems that way somehow. The edges of him squirm and expand. He is shadows and barbs and coils and teeth.
He is a monster.
He likes me.
And the man that contains Mr. Marlow, the proper and buttoned up Dr. Fastian? Well, he sees me for what I am—a scarred strumpet who enjoys playing too close to the fire, who doesn’t mind getting singed now and again.
He doesn’t like me, not truly.
I am not the sort of woman that anyone likes. Well, not anyone decent, that is. You won’t like me either.
I am warning you. Do not read this.
This Jekyll-and-Hyde inspired monster romance is a gaslamp romp into the dark, seedy back alleys of a Victorian-esque city. Part psychological thriller, part musings on gender roles and social structure, and all detailed monstery spice. If a reader is looking for a simple pleasurable escape, she should look elsewhere. This one will hurt.

Arrogant Alien
Release date: 6/15/23
He’s an alien turncoat
Ever since I joined the resistance, my life has meaning. I’ll sacrifice everything to further the cause.
Not just because I get a charge out of sticking it to my abusive father, but because I believe it’s the right thing to do. Toth totalitarianism has to end, and I’ll do anything it takes to make that happen.
Going undercover with a scantily-clad human at my side posing as my sex slave?
I mean… I’ve had worse assignments.
She’s a human spy
I seduce men for secrets. It’s my job.
This mission is just like any other. I’m posing as a leashed-and-collared Toth plaything, but it’s just an act.
Diirk Rorrn may hold my leash, but I don’t really answer to him. Actually, I hate him. Near as I can tell, all lip-service to the contrary, he’s still the same entitled and rich jerk he’s always been, no matter how loudly he pledges himself to the cause.
Lots of men have done all manner of things to this body.
I’ve never caught feelings.
I sure as deep space am not catching them for him.
Forced proximity, forced intimacy, sex is my job, and all the best spy tropes, including lipstick weapons.

Original Monster F*cker
So, monster romance is a hot new subgenre, but I have been writing monster romance all along under my various pen names. Here are my monster romance books that I wrote when I didn’t even know monster romance was a thing. (Click on the titles, they are links)
Jove Chambers
Midnight Moonlight- werewolf romance novella (shifters, but he’s got the mind of an animal)
Steel– KU superhero romance (basically he’s a silver Hulk)
Val St. Crowe
Of Wolves and Woods trilogy- werewolf urban fantasy (Landon is combination werewolf/vampire–think Hunger Games muttations–who is constantly furry and has a rage mode triggered by sexual attraction)
The Slayer Chronicles and Ravenridge College (urban fantasy) feature Logan the gargoyle as a love interest (he’s a spun-off rejected spoke of a love triangle from TSC to get his happy ending in the 2nd series)
The Red Wood duology (fae portal fantasy) features Jareth, the king of Winter, who is cursed as a beastman with fur, teeth, and claws.
Empire of Rust (KU) is my zombies-can-be-sexy book. (It’s kinda a mixture of post-apoc and epic fantasy, set hundreds of years after the apocalypse) She smells like cinnamon and he just wants to take a bite of her. It also features a sacrifice-wedding scene which is a kind of half he wants to eat her, half he wants to bite her. She lives, I swear.
Val Saintcrowe
(epic and historical fantasy)
The Nightmare Court trilogy (KU) feature the Knights of Midian who are ageless, cold-blooded blood drinkers with pale skin.
The Red Echoes Duet (KU) goes full-on monster romance when the main character transforms into a half-birdman with wings and talons.
