Miami’s Concrete Jungle (music: CITY GIRL by Kevin Shields)

My first artistic endeavor for 2014 is this short film, "Miami's Concrete Jungle." Having lived most of my life in Coral Gables, Florida, I made a clean break in October 2013 to midtown Miami, and it's the best move I ever made (long story). As I discover new things day after day in my "new" city, I was awed by the massive towers in midtown Miami, which I simply could not capture with my camera, not even in panoramic mode. After some testing of the camera mounting on my car, I've finally captured what I saw, but couldn't convey. This is the result. Enjoy! All footage and concept ©2014 Ivette Cardoso
