Another 5 Star Review – They Just Keep on Coming
Billy Franks
This is an amazing book that left me feeling full of inspiration as well as admiration for the man who wrote it. I have never met him, I do not know him but I feel, through this book, that I do. It has made me laugh and cry. It is a story of never give up; so inspirational and at the end of the day it shouts out, to thine own self be true. Billy certainly followed that stricture in his struggles. I would put forward the opinion that he is an honourable man of principle, apart from a few teen pranks, and a man who never gave up on his dream. A true inspiration to all who are trying to make it in a hard world; never give up, follow your dreams who knows where they will lead. I once wrote a poem about following your dreams. I felt that our dreams are ours by divine right and from them we must not part for they are part of what’s born in our heart. Billy proves my point.

A Far Cry from Sunset
It tells of the adventures of four friends traveling the world to ask ten famous artists to appear Having been a singer/songwriter my entire life, A Far Cry from Sunset is the title of my first book.
It tells of the adventures of four friends traveling the world to ask ten famous artists to appear on a tribute album to an unknown songwriter and making a documentary of their quest. The unknown songwriter in question was myself.
Apart from being a road trip tale of epic proportions it is also a memoir of my life in music from the mid 70s til the present day.
It was released on Amazon a few weeks ago and for one day was the fourth best selling paperback and the number one selling book in the music category.
