Kid- Flu has become Dad-Flu
He's pretty much better now, but of course now I'm starting to sneeze, cough and ache in a way that even a dose of decongestants, paracetamol and ibuprofen is only reducing to a dull dis-ease.
I managed to sleep 11 hours last night (which is way better than the 3-5 hours a night I was getting), but I feel like I could sleep that again, already.
In short, I feel rubbish, and have a game to run tomorrow, so today will be spent doing as little as humanly possible in the hopes that rest will accelerate my immune response (it usually does). I am not writing another word until next week...
That is all.

Happy Birthday to the longest running, and arguably still the best and most original science-fiction show on television. In honour of the day I shall spend the entire day hiding behind the sofa.

Neutrino Detector Finds Elusive Extraterrestrial Particles in ‘Major Breakthrough’
For decades, scientists have been searching for ghostly neutrino particles from outer space, and now they have finally found them.
Using the IceCube Neutrino Observatory in Antarctica, researchers found the first evidence of neutrinos from outside the solar system since 1987. The findings open the door for a new era of astronomy that could reveal secrets of the strangest phenomena in the universe, scientists say.
OOH this is interesting!
