Judith and I live in an old miner's cottage. Old miner's cottages might suit old miners, but we've had to make a few changes for it to suit us.
Like a north facing addition with double glazing to keep us warm during the cold winters, and a new front door. We love our door, Judith took a photos of a door in Paris with Cat eyes, i did a drawing from it; our wood artist friend built it from yellow box and our friend Paddy Robinson , a glass artist made the windows in it. During the day we can trace rainbows across the floor and walls and from the outside at night it looks like a cathedral. All that in Wattle Flat!
