A house by the beach, happily married for over 25 years – what more could Sarah and Andrew Denby need? Yet, something is missing…until Will Bramble knocks on their door. He leads them into a deeper sensuality than they ever imagined.
The lanky redhead figures on a quick seduction, some fun in the sack and moving on. But Sarah’s laughter, Andrew’s strength, and the welcome of their bed, fills the hollow place in his heart.
From the haunted hills of Santa Bella, to the rambling fields of Scotland and the enchantments of Ireland, they discover the powers of physical intimacy, while the legacy of his magic, hidden beneath his human skin, brings their world to life.

Casually, Will laid an arm across the back of the bench. “The windows and doors won’t take very long. But if you’d like, we can talk about a few odd jobs. Like repairing this deck. I think the support beams are failing; it’s too spongy. I have the time on my schedule.”
She turned her face toward his hand and inhaled the batch of pheromones he’d set down earlier. Her eyes closed slightly and a tremble ran through her body. The obvious desire for more flew through her. She took another deep breath. He set his drink cup down and turned to face her. When he lifted his hand slightly, she ran a tongue down it, and then flinched back. “Oh! I…uh…” The blush from the coffeehouse rose to a full bloom on her face.
How charming!
“Seems like a good thing to do…” Taking her hand in his, he raised it to his lips and ran his tongue down it, and then sucked several of her fingers into his mouth.
Her eyes widened as she stared at him. “Oh, God. I...want…”
“I like to follow my instincts, Sarah.” Will looked straight into her eyes. He licked at her fingertips before setting that hand at his bulging crotch. With a moan, her eyes lost focus as the pheromones took hold. Will kept still when she pushed off the bench, knelt on the deck, and fought to get his pants open. Her fervor impressed him. She lowered her mouth onto him and sucked like it was the first cock she’d ever touched.
A smidge of guilt ran through him, but the glory of her mouth swept that away. If she hadn’t been inclined, it wouldn’t have worked.
Though he wanted to linger over the encounter, it was best if he delivered this first dose of chemistry speedily. “Damn, that feels so good.” He stroked her hair, let his head drop back and surrendered. She swallowed most of his cum, save for the bit that dribbled down her chin. He smiled and lifted her, opening her shirt and spreading that bit down her cleavage, even painting her nipples with it. “Make sure he sucks them tonight,” he whispered.
Sarah nodded, and he helped her back to the bench, securing her shirt before putting himself back together. He picked up his drink and let her return to herself. His chemistry would make sure she stayed calm. Her memory wasn’t going to argue with what just happened. It would just shuffle it around; probably decide nothing had occurred save a pleasant fantasy.
As he expected, the lovely writer sat up straighter, picking up the conversation from where it left off. “Yeah, the deck. It is a bit spongy. I keep trying to talk Andrew into putting together a shed under there, with a door to the front and the back. And extend it.” She got up and pointed to the box below the deck, giving him a nice view of her ass. “That used to be where the twits before us kept their dogs.” It was as if the small interlude had never taken place.
His imagination sped ahead, picturing her spreading those legs and inviting him to fuck her. Battling the image, he finished his cookies and then told her to check out the bedroom. “You can watch while I get the new window in.”
Standing, she sedately followed him into the bedroom and lay down on the bed to observe him work. He stepped in and out of the room. One of the times he came back in, she’d slipped her hand under the waistband of the baggy jeans she was wearing and began masturbating. Will ignored her and kept talking about the window. When she climaxed, filling the room with her scent, he sat, pulling her hand free and cleaning it off. A small smile lit her face and then she drifted into a late afternoon nap. Her susceptibility boded well for his pursuit. He hoped Andrew was equally inclined. From impressions, he was nearly certain.

Recently, Rush was dealt a devastating blow: He has a young daughter who he never knew existed. After this life-shattering secret is exposed, Rush finds out that those close to him are the ones behind it all. Feeling betrayed, he instantly dismisses those individuals from his life. In his mind, their actions were unforgivable and mending fences is not of urgency. At present, his primary goal is finding, and forging a relationship, with his child. Nothing will keep him from doing that.
But while Rush is establishing this new phase of life, things are in disarray in the old life.
For one, someone wants Rush's father dead and will go to great lengths to make it happen. Then there’s the mother of Rush's daughter who wants more than to co-parent. This leaves Alika feeling the strain of it all while trying to remain by his side. Yes, things become chaotic. But, Rush is no stranger to chaos. Hell, he even has a club called Chaos, as a testament to where he's been and what he's made of.
But how much can one person take?
Rapture 2 brings many things to question, but it will be interesting to see how it all turns out in the end. Specifically, which relationships will remain intact, and which ones will be forever altered to the point of no return.

While my pen and paper consummated when I was pre-teen, my written words would not be seen until a long time after. My dream was always to write a book, but I didn't take steps to do so out of fear that readers wouldn't be interested in what I had to say.
When I suffered the devastating loss of my first cousin, in 2006, with a few months left to complete my undergraduate studies, I barely made it through. A good friend not only suggested that I begin blogging, that friend gifted me with a newly designed blog platform, which birthed my first e-journal.
The blog opened a whole new world for me and served as a place I could express candidly, about life. When my blog was discovered and I began receiving compliments on not just my candor, but on my writing style, it fueled the fire, and thoughts of penning a novel resurfaced.
The lingering doubts of, "Who would even want to read your work?" were replaced with, "Worry about an audience later, and just do it."
And that I did.
I write what I like to call, "Multicultural Mayhem". I label it as such because you never know what will happen in my stories, but what is certain; there will always exist a multicultural cast who bring with them plenty of Sex, Cursing and Sass. Oh...and the occasional Happily Ever After.
I love producing intimate moments that aren't just about sex. There's heat, and there's passion. But, it's a sexy kind of intimacy that I love exploring through my characters. I enjoy seeing them connect on both intellectual and physical levels. That connection allows me to build erotic moments, with purpose, and satisfaction.
I plan to perfect my craft and delve into other genres, down the line. With "Amazon bestselling author," added to my list of credits, I am in the writing game for the long haul and have no intentions of putting down my pen any time soon.

Book Blast: One With the Darkness by Susan Squires @susansquires

“Let me get your property, my lady,” the trader said. They turned to the back of the stall. Three men clustered round the straining barbarian, laughing as he tried to twist away. Blood dripped from his wrists where he had pulled against his shackles. He spat at them. It was his only means of defiance. Graccus wiped his face and laughed. “Oh, he’ll be a joy to break.” “I agree,” she said. The three yanked their gazes up, as did the barbarian. He flushed in shame. “Now unhand my new slave, sirs, so I may begin.” “What? But I am buying him for my brothel!” She waved the receipt scroll. “Too late.” Her She turned to the trader. “For the price I just paid, you can throw in a pair of shackles.” The trader nodded and clapped his hands. Slaves appeared with the required bindings. They unlocked the barbarian’s wrists from the poles and chained them behind his back before they released his feet. His ankles, too, were bloodied. Those green eyes stared at her, burning with intensity, as though he was still not sure what had just happened to him. Excitement churned inside her. This was the start of something—she didn’t know quite what. “Come quietly, slave,” she ordered, putting all the force of her personality behind her words, just shy of raising her Companion for compulsion. “You two—see that he does.” Two of Titus’s bodyguards nodded. Each took one of the slave’s arms and dragged him forward. “You knew I wanted him,” Graccus was saying. The trader only shrugged. He couldn’t have gotten two thousand dinars for a slave bound for a brothel. They pushed into the market throng. “There you are,” Titus called, hurrying over. Livia saw him frown as he registered the barbarian. “Livia Quintus, what is this? You’ve never purchased this creature!” “I have, Titus. He was a soldier, therefore skilled in martial arts. He even speaks Latin. He’ll be a perfect bodyguard.” “Livia, return him at once. This is no slave for a woman.” Livia turned to her new purchase, seeing him through Titus’s eyes. Bloody and sweating, he looked fierce, with those intense green eyes and all that hair. But he was the one she wanted. She knew that as certainly as she knew her own name. “Once we clean him up you won’t recognize him.” “He needs more than a bath to make him suitable.” “You were the one who suggested a bodyguard slave, and now that I’ve meekly done as you ask, you rail at me.” Titus rolled his eyes. “Meek? I would welcome meek.” Livia gestured her entourage forward. Titus sighed and fell in step. “I just hope you haven’t bitten off more than you can chew.”

I round the corner to the living room and I see Trev lying on the sofa, asleep. I stop and stare; I’ve never noticed how incredibly handsome he is. I mean of course he is cute, but Jaiden is closer in age to me and I have hung out with him more than Trevor. I study him as he lies perfectly still, the only movement coming from him his chest raising and lowering with each breath.
He has strong features, a square jaw and smooth skin, with high cheekbones. His hair is short and mocha colored, his eyes, if they were open, are a stunning sky blue. Jaiden’s eyes are green, if I remember correctly. Trev is a little taller than J, probably six foot six or seven, and built.
He may be a Secret and not a Rector but we would be evenly matched if we were to fight. His chest is broad and muscular, his biceps are huge, and in the t-shirt he’s wearing it looks like they are trying to break free. The bottom hem of the t-shirt has ridden up and his skin is tanned and chiseled, with just a slight trail of hair disappearing under his jeans. While I’m staring at his abs, I notice his breathing has changed. I bring my gaze back to his face and he is looking at me in a demure, almost coy way. If I were to have been standing here checking out Jaiden his face would have been full of arrogance with a haughty smile, knowing he’s gorgeous of course. With Trev, he’s almost asking with his eyes if he is good enough.
“Um,” I say clearing my throat, feeling my face heat. “I knocked, but you didn’t answer, it was unlocked,” I say, gesturing at the door. “I’m early, so I thought I would just come over. I’m sorry to have woken you.”
I look down, feeling bad for not thinking of his need for sleep, he still has dark circles under his eyes. I should have walked back out instead of ogling him while he slept.
“Cord,” he says, waiting for me to look up. I finally meet his eyes and he continues. “It is okay, really, you don’t have to apologize.” He stands from the sofa. “I was just waiting for you, and I apparently fell asleep.”
For some reason my belly flutters when he says he was waiting for me. Don’t be stupid, I tell myself; of course he’s waiting for you, he told you to be here at four. I mentally chastise myself and answer him.
“Yeah, okay. Do you need help carrying anything?” I ask, trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.
“Nope, I’ll grab my bag and be right back, we can get going early,” he says, smiling at me then leaving the room.
I sit down on the sofa to wait for him, and sift through the feelings that are floating through me. I haven’t really noticed Trev before, he has always been around, but I have always been so focused on J that Trev never stood out. He sure does now. I feel my cheeks heat again and I duck my head to hide it even though I’m alone.

He smoothed her hair and rubbed a thick tendril between his thumb and forefinger. “I am Gunnar.” He pronounced the name Goo-nar.
An emblem of the sun, surrounded by a circle, had been branded on the back of his powerful hand. Penny touched the scar while he held a length of her hair, recognizing Freyr’s sacred insignia from her textbooks. “The pain must have been excruciating.” Without thinking, she lifted the old wound to her mouth and laid kisses along its perimeter before pressing a kiss to the icon inside.
Tremors vibrated across her lips when they touched the ancient symbol and her body tingled with the contact. The brand grew warm and then hot against her mouth, though it did not burn. She ran her tongue over the thick scars to erase the heat, and then licked the center, finishing with a tiny swirl.
Gunnar’s gasp of surprise was the last thing she expected when she lifted her head. He released her hair and drew away.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what got into me. Have I offended you?” She’d always been popular with men, and comfortable around them, but her behavior with Gunnar was bold, even for her. She sat up. “Am I under some kind of spell?”
Gunnar shook his head. “I used my powers to heal you, but your free will remains intact.”
She searched his face for clues about what to do next, because desire shone behind the wary expression in his eyes. Something else shone there, too. Gratitude. Penny waited for Gunnar’s reply without letting go of his disfigured hand.
He said, “Kindness isn’t something I’m used to finding. Perhaps you’d be less inclined toward compassion if you knew what I’d done to deserve this brand of servitude.”
She reached out and draped an arm around his neck to bring him closer. Their gazes locked and held. Gunnar’s eyes were like pools of ice blue water that pulled her in and down.
Her breathing slowed while the sound of her heartbeat rushed blood through her ears. “I am Penelope. And if you’re from Alfheim, I know who and what you are. I just don’t understand why you’re here.” How could she deserve his rare, benevolent gifts? She was just an ordinary woman from an ordinary town, barely scraping by.
His warm breath grazed her cheek in shallow rushes, lifting goose bumps across her skin. His wide, firm mouth smelled of sweet ground parsley and fresh-picked mint. “Sometimes we get what we need, simply because we ask. That’s the beauty and power of the unexpected.”

EXCERPTCHARACTER BIOSPete stripped down to boxers and donned his running shorts. Not bothering with a shirt, he headed for the beach. There was no way he could get to sleep after his steamy encounter with Jo Parker. Running would clear his mind and calm his body.
He pulled an elastic with his house key on it over his wrist and left. As he walked down the path to the sand, he thought about Jo. Christ, I can’t stop thinking about her! Chilled by the night air, he started to run. He’d known she was sexy, but the way she had surrendered in his arms, well, surprised wasn’t the word. He never thought she’d fall without a major seduction. Flowers, candy, dinners out—now he could forget that. Next date would end in his bed.
Pete could hardly wait. Searching his memory, he couldn’t remember when he had been so turned on so quickly. She’d had him when she’d walked in wearing that sweater. Shit, I could barely keep my eyes or hands off her breasts. Lust had boiled up in his veins when she’d insisted on seeing his bedroom. Standing there with the sea on one side and alluring Jo Parker on the other, a foot from his bed, he could hardly control himself or ignore the protests from his dick.
PETE SEBASTIAN - Winning the Super Bowl is just the beginning for Coach Bass, as his team calls him. He walks on water, until his world gets turned upside down by a feisty female. When the new V.P. of Publicity turns out to be a gorgeous blonde, Pete is stopped in his tracks.

Bed partners are easy to find, but the right woman, one who loves football almost as much as she loves him isn’t easy. So far, he has come up empty.
With a beautiful woman in the office next door, Pete can hardly concentrate on preparing for training camp. All he wants to do is kiss Jo Parker, but she’s tucked away behind a professional demeanor and not going to play his game.
Never one to throw in the towel, Pete has a strategy to win this woman who keeps one step ahead of him. Can the charming, sexy coach win the affections of the elusive Ms. Parker? Or his he destined to continue on playing a solo game?
JO PARKER - Jo Parker is a woman who knows what she wants, right? She thinks she does. A successful woman in the man’s world of NFL front office, Jo has worked hard and taken lots of guff to rise to the level of vice president of publicity.
Her new job at The Connecticut Kings presents a challenge. Not only does she have to clean up the reputation of a team that fired two players for domestic violence, but she has to resist the practically irresistible charms of the coach, Pete Sebastian.
With her pug, Daisy, tucked under her arm, Jo takes Monroe and the Kings by storm. She rolls in, determined to send the players to anger management, to avoid further bad behavior. But they roadblock her at every step. And leading the resistance is the devastatingly handsome, Coach Bass.
Chemistry and mutual attraction short-circuit Ms. Parker’s plans. She finds herself in unfamiliar waters, falling in love. But love is not in her plans. She doesn’t believe in Prince Charming and she’s not about to give up her independence for a roll in the hay.
But loneliness and a hunger for love, born from a sterile childhood, draw her to the warmth and charm of Pete Sebastian. Will she be able to control her emotions, fight through their mutual attraction to focus on the job and only the job?

About the Book:
Bakery owner Annabelle Sparks’ business is booming ever since she won reality TV's Cupcake Wars. The one thing deflating her happy soufflé? The extremely sexy Kaden Chance only sees her as a best friend–and Annabelle wants so much more. After waiting a year for him recognize their chemistry, she’s giving up and dating other people.
What she doesn't know is Kaden's heart doesn't actually beat. He's not human. Heck, he's not even from Earth. To retain his intergalactic immunity, no one can ever know he is an extraterrestrial. But when Annabelle starts dating, something strange happens to Kaden's unmoved heart: it begins to beat. Now he faces an impossible choice—tell Annabelle the truth and be deported–or lose his last chance at love.
Camden shrugged his shoulders. “Don’t be so hard on yourself. If she is your mate, it’s nothing you did on your own. It would’ve happened regardless.” The phone rang. Kaden stood, but Camden motioned for him to sit back down. “I’ll take care of it.” He headed toward their family room in the front of the house.
“There’s really no need to panic at this point,” Hayden said, opening the refrigerator, pausing to check out the contents, finally settling on lunch meat and cheese. “I suggest you act as if nothing has changed.”
Kaden thought about how he’d left things with Annabelle. There was no way they could go back to the way they were. The next time he saw her, she’d expect answers. She deserved answers. “I don’t see how that can happen.”
Hayden glanced up from the sandwich he was making. “Why is that?”
I had her halfway to an orgasm, then ran out of there without an explanation. “I left things a bit…awkward with her.”
Hayden turned his attention back to the triple-decker submarine he was building. “Do what you feel is best—I’m not concerned. You’ve never given me a reason to doubt your decisions before. Just remember to pay attention to any variances in your behavior. If you sense any change, let us know immediately.”
Camden came back into the room, still clutching the portable phone. “I think we have a problem.”
Kaden’s entire body tensed. “What now?”
Camden pointed over his shoulder. “Annabelle is on her way here. She’s in a cab at the front gate.”
“Don’t let her in.” He paused for a second. Not allowing her in would only escalate the situation. There had to be a better answer. “Tell her I’m not here.”
Camden rubbed the back of his neck. “Too late, bro. Barney buzzed her in.”
What was the point of living in this secluded neighborhood if the security team let in anyone who showed up at the gate? He made a mental note to have a long talk with Barney’s supervisor in the morning. “Why would he do that?”
Hayden chuckled. “A pretty human showing up in the middle of the night isn’t exactly newsworthy around here. Barney probably assumed she was here for Camden.” Camden winked at Hayden.
Was this a regular occurrence when he wasn’t home? “How many humans have you brought back to this house?” Kaden asked, irritation filling his tone. “Do you have no respect for any of the rules we’ve set?”
Camden raised an eyebrow. “Hey, glass house, now really isn’t the time for you to preach to me about the rules.” He made his way toward the staircase with his chest puffed out like a proud canary. “Sounds like you have plenty of explaining to do, so I’ll leave you to handle that.”
Hayden placed his sandwich on a paper plate. “I’m going to eat my snack in my office.” As he was leaving the room he glanced over his shoulder. “Be sure to give the human my regards.”

Book Blast: Her Immortal Viking by Adele Downs @Adele_Downs
