New Adult Romance ~ THE IMPACT OF YOU ~ Teaser!
Fun Fact and Teaser!
FACT: You guys named the main character - remember that poll I had on my website... yeah - that was all you guys! You picked Jase! And now in the teaser below, please meet Jase...
Scene in Jase's point of view - grabbing coffee with Avery after their Human Sexuality class....
TEASER:
She slides the sheet of paper toward me and points. “We have to write entries on our own body image, what attracts us in the opposite sex, and an entry on sexual preferences and orgasms.” Her eyes dart up to mine and she drags her teeth across her bottom lip.
Fuuuck, that’s sexy.
Avery stuffs the paper back into her bag, muttering to herself, “A section on orgasms- that’ll be a short chapter…”
Holy shit. “What?” I can’t help but react. Has no one touched this beautiful girl? Sign me up. Right fucking now.
Her head snaps up. “I’m just going to shut up now.”
“That’s probably wise.” Otherwise I can’t be held responsible for bringing her to orgasm myself. Under the table.
Avery collapses, burying her face in her hands.
I can’t resist reaching over to rub her back between her shoulder blades. “Hey, it’s okay. If you need tutoring in the bedroom too, babe, just ask.”
Avery lets out a groan, and I can’t be sure, but I think a string of curse words too. Once her tirade is out of her system, she takes a deep breath and sits up straight, though her expression is still pinched, like she can’t believe she told me that.
I push her coffee toward her again, trying to downplay it, and Avery accepts the cup, taking a sip.
“Hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, but no wonder you’re so cranky. I would be too without regular orgasms,” I say.
Avery spits her coffee across the table, choking and sputtering. I reach over to pat her back, nursing her back to health until she can clear her stubborn airway.

I also thought I would provide an update on my upcoming projects. I’m very excited to have my next 2 releases underway. RESISTING HER is due out May 1st, this manuscript is “finished” (aside from editing) and I’m happy to tell you it’s my longest book yet. So many readers have told me they want MORE and so I’m delighted that this story unfolded the way it did. Completed, it’ll clock in somewhere around 70,000 words, and my other books are around 45,000-50,000 words, so it’s significantly longer (for me and my writing style anyway!)
It’s also quite different from my other books. It’s mostly from his point-of-view, and Cole is a true alpha male. He’s in for a bumpy ride when he meets Savannah. :) Buckle up, baby! I have truly loved writing about these two.
My next project, I’m partially through writing too! I haven’t announced the title, cover or blurb yet…but stay tuned, because I plan to soon! I’m hoping for an August or September release for this one. It’s a new adult romance and takes place in a college setting. It’s a more exploratory than what I’ve done before – both from an emotional and sexuality side, so it’s been a very eye-opening journey for me and the characters!!

Extended Teaser ~ RESISTING HER ~
In honor of Valentine's Day, here is an EXTENDED sneak preview of RESISTING HER, due out MAY 1st.
Cole peeled back the covers and Savannah crawled in.
She snuggled into his pillows and inhaled. “It smells like you.”
He didn’t ask if that was good or bad, but the sleepy little smile on her lips confirmed her opinion on the matter. He didn’t quite know how to process the fact that his musky scented sheets – that were probably due for a washing – were pleasing to her. He liked her scent too though. Maybe it was only natural to be attracted to the scent of the opposite sex.
When he crawled into bed in the dimly lit room, Savannah scooted over toward him and nestled in against his bare chest. The soft curve of her breast pressed against the firm plane of his chest and her legs tangled with his. He went instantly hard. Fuck.
He sat up and removed her grasp on him. “No Savannah. You can’t do that. You can sleep in here if you want, but I need my space.”
She bit her lip and looked down, seemingly hurt at being scolded.
“Hey, it’s okay. You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m just used to sleeping on my own.” It was the truth, but not entirely. He wanted nothing more to take her in his arms and hold her all night. Hell, if he was admitting it to himself, he wanted to do a lot more than that to her tempting little body, though he’d never let himself act on it. He wouldn’t take advantage of her that way, but mostly he just didn’t want her to discover that he was hard.
Savannah’s confused gaze caught his in the moonlight. “Are you mad at me?”
He couldn’t resist stroking her cheek. “No. You didn’t do anything wrong. Just get some rest okay?”
She nodded, and lay back down – this time on the other side of the king-sized bed. A few moments later, her breathing became deep and even, and he knew she’d fallen asleep, but he was too keyed up for sleep. His erection begged for attention. And having her soft, feminine curves right there next to him was pressing all his buttons. He glanced at the door to the master bath, wondering if he could slip out of bed silently and go jerk off. But if Savannah woke up and called for him, then what? He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, knowing he’d get no relief tonight.
