Flash Fiction Competition Entry

Here’s my entry into The Fiction Shelf’s flash fiction competition on twitter.

Lying on the kitchen floor but can’t move. Watching the tea towel ignite on the gas stove, wondering if blood is flammable. #tfsflashfiction

After the twitter hash-tag you have 123 characters to tell your story. The theme is new.

At first glance my entry probably doesn’t seem that new, but my idea was to introduce a new and strange thought. And that’s about it! Short and simple.
