JK Recommends… July 5th! Recommendations for all the book lovers…
So many great books to recommend! And I’m also including one that came out earlier this year you may have missed, Shut Up and Kiss Me. It’s a F/F love story that takes place primarily on a floating condo (how cool would that be) between a woman who’s visiting her family and the staffer she falls for. Fast-paced, sexy, and fun with a bit of an insta-love plot (a trope I love!) I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Thanks to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of Waiting For Tom Hanks, and am so glad I did. I’m a huge fan of RomCom movies, especially those from the 80s and 90s, and this book—about an aspiring screenwriter—hit all my happy buttons. Sweet and humorous and fun, you should definitely check it out, especially if you count Tom Hanks’ many RomCom movies among your favorites — as I definitely do!
