A punch in the nose won't solve the problem.

Check out, rebellesociety.com today. The page will come up with several dialogue boxes. My article is under the one marked May 27, some people say I'm sorry .. It's not your typical, say I'm sorry and all is right with the world, article. But then, Rebelle Society writes what it means whether you like it or not. This website calls to me quite often. So happy to have two articles archived on it now. You can find both articles if you type in my name under search. Later, Goodies.

Red and Read.

My best ones, the ones I love writing and reading the most, are the funny or scary ones. Or, the funny/scary ones with a few hard boiled words thrown in to add a flash of film noir. Now, where is Little Red Riding Hood off to? And, what happened to her basket of goodies? Anybody got a toothpick?

Witch Hunt Poem is coming in April.

Dark Moon Digest has accepted my poem, Witch Hunt. I did some research for this one and stayed up nights reading about the burning times. My hope is that this poem provides information as well as another voice for the victims.

bumpynightpublications.blogspot.com

And, here is why I have two blogs. shesgotashortfuse.blogspot.com is filled with light and quirky bits and pieces of poems and excerpts from stories. bumpynightpublications.blogspot.com has a darker mood, much more horror in it's mix of material. You'll find some interesting ingredients in this cauldron of archived offerings.

Lisette is stirring up some magic.

Yes! My poem, Lisette is going to be published in the next issue of The Literary Hatchet. This piece was inspired by the series, American Horror: Coven. But, it's certainly not quite so scary. Soft horror is what I'd call it. A very moody, very New Orleans kind of adventure with Lisette as the Voodoo Queen mixing up her particular kind of magic.
