My latest work has now passed 61,000 words. Going back to a half completed novel after a few months has been really difficult and it has taken some time to find my stride with it again. Now it is all flowing well and the story is unfolding nicely. For some reason this book is coming out much more James Herbert than Stephen King.

"GATED" download numbers

I was going through my Amazon accounts the other day and imagine my shock to find that my eBook novel "GATED" has now passed 21,000 downloads since its launch in Dec 2012. That number is mind blowing to me and is a nice way to mark my one year anniversary at attempting to start a writing career. A massive thanks to everyone who took the time to read my work. 2013 has been a great year to date and has allowed me to make a living from sales and write full-time.

My new novel "Abra-Cadaver" is now out for proofing. I'm pretty pleased with the book and hope that others enjoy it. I should be launching it sometime soon.

"Gated" has reached 100 reviews on Amazon UK and added bonus, it was a nice 5* one. So chuffed to have reached a century of reviews on just one site, a huge thanks to eveyone who took the trouble.

Closing in now on a first draft on my new novel. First drafts will be going out soon to trusted previewers for thoughts and opinions.

Amazon ranking

Was having a gander on Amazon and found that "Gated" is #13 and "Asylum" is #16 on the UK Horror Chart, and "Asylum" is currently #57 on the US Horror Chart. Not too shabby!
