Tennyson's Bar, Planking at Yaki Point, and Bad Bat Renderings: Texting Pictures Across the Corpus Callosum
DI:E...is up. A disquisition on Picturing. Been humming the lyrics to "I'll Never Be Jealous Again" all morning. Gold star (and help crossing the street) to anyone who can place that tune.

Giveaway with Strings Attached...
Believe it or not, I'm pleased to see that my recent offer of a Giveaway for As It Is On Earth is attracting far lower numbers than for the first Giveaway.
Why?...When I realized that there are hundreds of readers simply trolling for a free book (bless their hearts, they're readers at least!), it became pretty clear that I needed to put some scare into this Giveaway in order to, hopefully, attract the right reader. No sense wasting the book on someone whose preferred genre is ...well, something very different from AIIOE's. Seems unfair to them and to me.
After all, isn't the search for one's true community of readers what literary fiction authors deep down aspire too? I know I do.
I'll let you know how this next Giveaway works out!
