The Clitorides Awards

Sooooo a huge thank you to Anomandaris who contacted me to let me know that Marriage Training had been nominated for a Clitorides Award!

I had no idea what that was at first, but it's a pretty cool website -
http://clitoridesawards.org/

From what I can tell, their mission is to help spread the word on good stories and authors that are available for free on the internet.  Which I think is pretty awesome, because there are some REALLY fantastic authors out there writing for free and it's really cool that there's something like this for acknowledging them and for also getting the word out about their stories.

And apparently, some people have been nominating Marriage Training for Best BDSM!

The way it seems to work is that anyone can nominate anyone (as long as their story is free), you don't have to sign up for the website, you just have to provide an email address so that they can keep a count on who is nominating who and make sure that nothing's rotten in the state of Denmark.  And the top ten nominated stories become finalists, and then they open up the voting.

I know a lot of you really liked Marriage Training, so I figured I'd ask that if any of you think it deserves an award like this, if you wouldn't mind slipping on over there and nominating it... but seriously, only if you think it deserves it.  And even if you don't, you should check out the sight anyway because they've got links to all the other stories too so it's a great resource for finding new authors that someone else thinks deserves a shout out.

From the count, I can see that more than one person has already nominated me, and I just want to say thank you guys so much... you have no idea what it means to me that people not only take the time to read my work and send me feedback and their thoughts, but also to nominate one of my stories for this kind of acknowledgment!  It's made me all warm and fuzzy inside =)

And congratulations to Tx Tall Tales who has several nominations!

For those of you who are reading Taken by the Wolf, Chapter 10 is now up!

I Wish...

I type 102 words per minute with minimal mistakes.

And I still wish I could type faster.

I have all these ideas just constantly exploding inside of my head... I wish you could all see the little notebooks that I have just FILLED with story ideas that are yet to be written.  And I have no idea when I'll be able to write them.  And it SUCKS because I want to share them all with you, but then I'm like, that's not really fair to be like, "CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME IDEA I HAVE.... I'm probably not going to be able to write it for a couple of years..." lol

I mean, you know... it just seems mean.

There's a futuristic series that I really want to write and I was like, "Dude, I'll totally get into that after I finish the Stronghold series!"  But of course, I'm only working on the second book of the Stronghold series and there's still what... 5-6 more to go?  If not more?  Plus, I've had some ideas for novellas to insert in between the actual books (things that I want to write but won't need a full book for, like Liam proposing to Hilary; Justin, Chris and Jessica's wedding; a prequel to Jared's book, plus some of the characters leftover from Venus School and maybe some of the other side characters from Stronghold).  ACK.

At least I can look forward to the Society of Sin, which is the Victorian series I'll be working on after I finish the Domestic Discipline Quartet.  That one will start with Marriage Training and then go back in time, starting with Gabriel's stepmother Audrey and the beginning of her employment as governess to his sisters, telling her story with his father.  After that it'll move onto his sisters, and then I've got multiple ideas for stories from that point (one of which will have Vivian's friend Emily, from Mrs. Cunningham's Finishing School, as the heroine).  And I've got a bunch of novella ideas for that one too.  SO yeah.  That I can talk about because I've got only one more book before starting that, and I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to get Marriage Training out in book form this fall!  I'll be aiming for September/November.

Anyway.  Just felt like whining a bit about all the great ideas I have that I don't feel like I can share.  LOL.  And my excitement about what I AM working on.  YAY!  Heh heh heh.

One more thing I'm excited about - came up with some AWESOME outlines to finish the stories that you all voted on that I'm suuuuper excited about.  From Terra is the most episodic, rather than having a real story arch, but the other two have some major stuff going on =) YAY!

Annie Rides the Sybian

Sooooooooooo for those of who you aren't into Taken by the Wolf, I've got a new story out!  This is the first chapter in a 5-part series that I'm working on before I start finishing up From Terra.

Annie Rides the Sybian is a story idea I got from LoAnnie (who has some wonderful works herself on Literotica).  There's not going to be any romance, but it should be a really fun read =D  I'm sure as heck having a lot of fun writing it!  This first chapter is in the Toys/Masturbation category but the next four chapters will be in Non-Con.

And for those of you who ARE reading Taken by the Wolf, I hope you enjoyed Chapter 9, Chapter 10 was submitted last night so it could possibly be out as soon as this upcoming weekend, or possibly at the beginning of next week.  Always hard to tell with Lit.  I counted out the chapters that I have outlined and Taken by the Wolf has 29 chapters total in the outline.  Crazy!  But awesome.  And they seem to be going much faster than Marriage Training did, probably because they aren't as in depth or as long.  I'm definitely okay with that though.  I'm having fun with the dark and also with how much easier the chapters are to write!

I'm really looking forward to getting started on finishing the series that you all voted for, hoping to do that starting in February =)

Happy Hump Day!

Burlesque Brunch

So, M asked about the Burlesque Brunch I mentioned in my last blog post.

Burlesque is something that has become BIG in the U.S. again.  It's not exactly stripping... but kind of.  The women usually don't get completely naked and there's more corsets and feathers and stuff like that.  It used to be the big thing to do for an erotic good time and now it's definitely been making a comeback here in the U.S.

For a friends bachlorette party we went to SAX in DC, which is a Burlesque Bar & Lounge with a FANTASTIC stage up behind the bar.  This means that you can't get anywhere near the dancers to tip them, so their wages are covered in the price that you pay for your meal (which is a set menu with a set price, although you do have some options within the set menu).  There's also always at least one girl walking around the floor in an outfit for you to take pictures with.

Burlesque is hot.  If you're trying to conjure up a picture of what it is, think corsets, silk robes, elbow-length gloves, stockings and nipple tassles.  Big feathers, fans, and a lot of pageantry going along with the stripping.  I'm looking into taking some classes in it, because I found out that's possible in my area.

SAX not only does evening stuff, they also have a Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's.  RIGHT?!  Yeah, of course we went.  LOL.  And it was just as amazing as when we were there for the bachlorette party.  The nice thing is, the Burlesque Dancers have sets that occur every 15 minutes or so and are about 2-4 minutes long.  This means that you have plenty of time to talk to your friends / eat in between watching the dancers - who are fantastic, btw.  They have a girl who does stuff on the pole that is just ridic impressive... she has amazing muscles and I want to be her.  Upper body strength like WOAH.  The food is great, the drinks are delicious, and the entertainment is both sexy and fun.

Next time we go to brunch there, we're bringing our moms.  And we're probably not going to give them a heads up beforehand.

Because what fun would that be?

Taken By the Wolf Ch. 9

As you may have guessed from the title of this blog post... Chapter 9 of Taken by the Wolf is now up on Literotica =)  YAY!  Chapter 9 has girl-on-girl sex and a defiant Alex.  I'm about halfway through Chapter 10 which will have more oral sex and more defiant Alex. LOL.  As well as some mind-fuck stuff, although in a slightly different way than previous chapters.

A couple of days ago I submitted the first chapter of Annie and the Sybian for those of you who aren't into the Wolf.  Annie starts off in toys/masturbation and ends up in Non-Con.  It's still a darker story and, for once, not a romance, but I think most of you will like it anyway =D  More to the usual style of what I write.  So that should be out later this week.

Consequences Part II (Wrote the first one for my other penname Dark Angel, if you remember) should be out next month just in time for Valentine's Day =D

If you haven't picked up a copy of Punishing His Ward, here's the links to Amazon and B&N.  So far getting pretty good reviews!  And thank you so much to those of you who have taken the time to do that, I really do appreciate it sooooo much =) Especially since so far you've all had very nice things to say!  I'm glad that people are enjoying Cynthia and Wesley, goodness knows I did!

I am currently knee-deep in Rick Winter and Maria... who are turning out to be a tougher write than Adam and Angel were, but I'm enjoying them.  Completely different dynamic.  It's also a lot of fun cuz right now I'm in the middle of a scene where he's at Stronghold so I'm getting to visit with some of the other characters... and about to hit some kind of showdown between Lexie and Patrick. Awesome-sauce!  Love those too and I'm looking forward to them... although I'm also seriously enjoying Rick right now.  He's such a sweetie, but I have a feeling he's completely different in the bedroom!

Anyway... I'm going to a Burlesque Brunch today.  It's not the same as a strip club... but I've been for the evening and it's freaking awesome.  I'm extremely amused by the idea of Burlesque over Brunch so I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy that too =)

Hope everyone has been having a good weekend!

Taken by the Wolf Ch. 8

Talk about being on a roll!

So Taken by the Wolf Ch. 8 came out on Literotica last night =)  So far it seems like it's getting good reviews =)  It's the first time that Bella, Alex and the Wolf are all alone together... and I think it might be as much of a mind-fuck as a physical one.  I certainly felt a bit like it was when I was writing it!  But sometimes I wonder if I'm getting across everything that's going on in my head.

Anyway.  Last night I also submitted Chapter 9... wow, that one took a turn while I was writing it.  The Wolf really likes making his captives earn their meals, and I knew exactly how I wanted them to do so.  Alex did exactly what he was supposed to.  Then I started writing the part where Bella and Trish were supposed to eat each other out to earn their food, and things did NOT go the way I planned!  But I think I liked the way it went even better, in the mind-fuck sense.  It'll be interesting to see how people respond when that comes out, so keep an eye out for it!  Now I've started working on Chapter 10 which won't really have anything new when it comes to the mind-fuck / sex stuff, but it's going to introduce some other stuff that I've been looking forward to dealing with.  Woo!

And, of course, if you didn't read my blog yesterday, Punishing His Ward is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords =)  If you like it please take a minute to let people know and just write a quick review!!!  It's always much appreciated =)

In the meantime, I've been working a bit on the short series that I mentioned before, Annie Rides the Sybian, and I think I'm about halfway through the first chapter of that one (it's going to have longer chapters than The Wolf does).  I'm hoping to get that submitted later this week.  I've also been working on trying to put together outlines for finishing the three Lit series that you all voted for!

It looks like From Terra will be the first one that I finish, mostly because it's going to have the shortest number of chapters to come to its conclusion.  Tomboy Tease will be next, although it's going to take quite a few chapters.  And Homeschooled is going last, because it took on a life of its own while I was writing the outline, and I don't know that I'll be able to even START finishing all three if I don't save that one for last... I'm pretty sure that the outline I came up with is NOTHING like what I originally pictured, but I'm looking forward to it.

Anyway, just wanted to report in on all that... apparently it's a busy week!

Now Available - Punishing His Ward

YAY!  Punishing His Ward is now on sale, the third book in the Domestic Discipline series =)

You can get it on Amazon.com or for the Nook, or if you don't have either it's also available on Smashwords.

Super excited that it's finally all ready to go!  I managed to finish it earlier than I thought I would; Cynthia and Wesley were extremely easy to write.  Plus Edwin & Eleanor are finally settling down.  Irene's still got a few issues, but they aren't with Hugh...

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!  Let me know what you think, and if you have a minute than a review on whatever site you purchased from is ALWAYS appreciated!

Weird

The whole 2014 thing is weirding me out a little bit.  Not sure why.  Maybe because Hubby and I designated 2015 as year of the house/poss babies and now that it's 2014 it feels SO much closer.  Eep.

Yesterday I finished the next chapter of Taken by the Wolf and submitted it to Lit.  It's the first chapter where Alex and Bella are alone with the Wolf.  Woot!  For those of you who don't like the MM stuff, there's almost none in the chapter, just a short hands-on paragraph.  I enjoyed writing about them being alone with him =)  Slightly different dynamic.  I was a little surprised that the Wolf's personality / demeanor really didn't change much between private/public.  Not sure what I expected, but really that's just who he is apparently.

I'm done with Seduction by Spanking which is now called Taming his Ward although I'm considering changing it to Punishing His Ward.  We'll see.  I have a lot of editing to do and because of the holidays I haven't gotten started on it yet at all.  I should be able to spend some time dealing with it this weekend, which will be good... I'd like to get it submitted to Amazon sometime next week.  Things have been a bit busy at home.  Hubby bought me Arkham Horror for Christmas and I'm more than a little addicted.  I love board games, I love complicated games, and I'm currently reading some H.P. Lovecraft, so really it was the perfect storm.  He's such a good hubby.  But it means that we've been playing board games ALL night instead of doing anything else, because the moment we finish a game I give him the sad eyes and he sighs and helps me reset the board.  =D

In other news, I've started work on Taming the Tease and I finally pushed past the writer's block I was struggling with on the first chapter... because, really, my opening sucked balls and so I re-wrote it completely.  Kinda wish I'd kept a copy of the original opening cuz then I could have shared it here and next time I do something like that I'll try to remember to keep a copy for you guys.  But yeah, once I started a new opening it started flying a bit, so I'm well on my way into the first chapter and getting to know Rick's girl.  I'm a fan.

And next for Lit, I'm going to be writing a short series (about 5 chapters long, compared to the more than 20 of The Wolf).  I've already started it.  This will give me some time while I figure out how the heck I'm going to finish the stories you all voted on (since it's been awhile since I worked on any of them and I'm going to have to figure out where I want them to go... any suggestions / requests, feel free to email me or leave a comment here!).  So the short series came from a suggestion from LoAnnie that intrigued me and I'm having fun writing it so far.  It's going to start off in the Toys category and move over to the Non-Con, probably called Annie Rides the Sybian.  So I'll keep you updated on that as well.

First month of the year and I'm already busy busy busy!  Unfortunately not unusual.  I just have trouble constraining myself when it comes to my projects LOL.

2014 Resolutions!

Ok, so last year I made 4 Life Resolutions and 4 Writing Resolutions... and, as I discussed, I barely did half of them.  But I'm pretty happy about the ones that I did complete, so that's something.

I think 4 of each is pretty reasonable, so I'm going to do the same this year and hope that I do a better job of living up to them =P

Life Resolutions
1. Either go to dance class or the gym at least twice a week (much more specific than just saying "lose weight")
2. Pay off at least two credit cards fully (yeah, more than last year, but I'm closer to actually doing it this year)
3. Get some culture - see at least 5 live shows, either in person or using the MET / ballet live feeds at the movie theater
4. Go to a strip club (re-hashing this one)

Writing Resolutions
1. Publish at least 2 books in the Stronghold series (That would be Rick's book and Patrick & Lexie's book ;)
2. Complete the Domestic Discipline Quartet
3. Publish the book version of Marriage Training
4. Complete these three series for Literotica: Homeschooled , Tomboy Tease and From Terra

Bonus Resolution
Yeah I'm having a bonus resolution for my penname - I'd like to get at least two more Dark Angel books out this year, if not more =)

So there's a lot that I'm looking forward to this year!  I'll be sad to finish off the Domestic Discipline Quartet, but excited to move onto the series that is going to be set in the Marriage Training world - The Society of Sin series - and I can't wait to get further into the Stronghold characters and their stories =)  I'm also excited about finally getting to write something super dark and trying out new things with Taken by the Wolf.

Happy New Year!  Let's do this!

2013 in Review & Ch. 7 of Wolf

Good grief it's been a busy year for me!!!  But before we get started with that, make sure to check out Chapter 7 of Taken by the Wolf on Literotica =)  Ok... now onto the past year!

I started writing Marriage Training in January 2013... so it took almost an entire year for me to finish that one!  Pretty close to anyway =)  It's probably the most involved story I've written for Literotica.  And, as usual, one of my favorites.  I'm looking forward to 2014 and putting out the book version =)

I finished off the Poker Loser Trilogy and finally released Winning Hand, the last book of the trilogy, also in January.  That was a big deal for me because that was my second ever Literotica story and one of the favorites of people throughout the years.  Looking back at it, I always feel like I did a surprisingly good job considering that it was my second story, I didn't have a lot of experience in the stuff that I was writing about, and I didn't have a lot of experience writing period.  It holds up and that makes me happy.  Some of my older stuff I read it and I'm like "I must have written this for the Survivorphile contest when I was trying to churn out large quantities."  I mean, even then, I wrote pretty decent erotica, but the actual storylines weren't real interesting / the characters were kind of shallow.  But Poker Loser is still one of my favorite stories that I've ever written.

This past year I also finished off the Venus Rising Quartet, which was also very exciting for me because fans of the Venus School of Sex on Literotica were the reason I started publishing on Amazon in the first place.  And now it's done!  Which was sad, but exciting because it let me move onto Stronghold!

And speaking of original stories, I also wrote my first book that doesn't have anything to do with anything I've ever written for Literotica - not even tangentially.  Birching His Bride came out in March and the second book in the quartet, Dealing with Discipline quickly became my highest selling book EVER in its release month.  Apparently people like the rough Victorian punishment erotica with some romance!  Which made me happy because I like it too =)  If I could have gotten the third book out this month I would have, but I'm seriously sooooo close, so that'll be my first book of 2014.

I  need to send out MAJOR thank-yous to AquaPrincess, Fifi, Lydia and Amanda, all of whom helped me out during the past year with getting these books out and definitely had a huge impact on the quality of the books that were released.  I can't thank you all enough for your help over the past year.

So yeah.  This was a very busy and exciting year for me.  I had four books come out on Amazon, started making my books available for the Nook, wrote my most intensive series ever for Literotica, and in general just had a smashing good time.  Thank you all for seeing out this year with me... tomorrow I'll be posting my resolutions for the upcoming year and talking about how well (or badly) I did with 2013, despite all the successes I've written about in this post LOL.  There's a LOT to look forward to this year!

Have a wonderful New Years Eve and stay safe!
