Because of Him Book Teaser Trailer - 1

Because of Him Update - September

Hello all!

I tweeted that there were changes being made to the Because of Him book cover. Now I have the finished product to show you!

Also, I'm so incredibly close to being satisfied with the book itself. I've gone over it a million times and I think I'm finally coming to a point where everything is perfect. Well not perfect. It can never be perfect. I would be working on it for the rest of my life if I wanted that. But it's nearly there.
The reason I've been so picky about the second book is because it has a very tight knit relationship with the third. I needed to get all of my facts straight for the end of the series before I could write the middle. It's a complicated thing trying to keep everything in order within a series like this. I respect J.K. Rowling a great deal now. I can't imagine how she kept that world in order. I stress daily over my books and I don't have nearly the amount of characters or creations.

The original release date is creeping up on me slowly. I still don't believe it will be ready by then, but it will be close. So no fears everyone. You won't have to wait that long to find out what happens!

Reflection

I thought I would further elaborate why I made the release date for Because of Him indefinite. When I started planning the series (The Mind Breaker Accounts), it was July 2009 and I was still in high school. I had notebooks that I would fill up with notes and every so often I would sit down and write a page or two of something specific that I wanted in the book. This process took three years and then finally I had something I could work with. The first book became Without Me and it was exactly the way I wanted it to be.
After the first book was finished, I had it planned in my head that I could finish the rest of the series in a reasonable amount of time, so that the others books would be released within the next two years. This was a very high hope. My original date for the release was September 24th. I have a version of the book that I could release to you by that time, but as a writer it would not make me happy. It's not the best version I could give you and I know exactly why. I pushed myself to make the date and by doing that I lost focus of the story itself. All I did was tell it, I didn't capture it like it should be.
This is why I plan to release the second book when I am 100% confident with it. I want my readers to have the best experience possible and this is the only way I know how to do that.

Because of Him release pushed back

So, I'm really sorry to announce that the release date for the second book in The Mind Breaker Accounts has been pushed back indefinitely. Because of Him will not be available for purchase on September 24th like it was originally planned. Due to some editing issues and my personal request, the decision has been made that the date will be pushed back. As of now, we don't have another date to give you, but I can tell you that it will still be this year. 2012 is still the goal, so don't think it'll be another year before you get to read it.

I would feel much more comfortable releasing Because of Him to everyone knowing that it's in its most perfect form. I want everything to be amazing for my readers and I want your experience to be the best one. I don't feel I can give you that unless I push back the release date.

Thank you for understanding and I hope this doesn't discourage your excitement. I will continue to post about any decisions that are made.

I'm so sorry that it took so long for me to get back to you guys with an official date! However, I can now tell you that Because of Him will be available for purchase September 24th! Yes, that is approximately 2 months away! I hope everyone is just as pumped as I am to see this next installment to The Mind Breaker Accounts come to life! I would love to hear anyone's feedback about what their most looking forward to reading in the 2nd book. As I've talked about before, so much is revealed in this book! New characters and introduced, old flames are relit, and unfinished battles are waged!
