East Side Storytellin' & Official Tour Stops!

On Tuesday, several of you came out to support me at the 39th East Side Storytellin' hosted my Chuck Beard and East Side Story! The event was a great success! If you attended, you got to hear a snippet of Small Circles - read by myself - and a beautiful acoustic set by the talented Lauren Lyle! The event was recorded in it's entirety, and the podcast will be available soon on the East Side Story website www.eastsidestorytn.com under the "In Our Own Words" tab.

I am forever thankful to all of those that show their endless support and love for what I do. It's an amazing feeling to know so many of you are eager to hear my stories and follow me on my journey!

Doing this event got me really excited to kick off my tour! So far, there are four stops with confirmed dates. There are still a few more that haven't been added to the list yet, simply because I am waiting for finalized times and schedules. The best place to keep updated on all the events being added to this tour is my website www.megandukebooks.com There you will find everything you need to know as I know it :)
Stay tuned for more pictures from East Side Storytellin', also soon to be on my website!
Thanks!!!
Megan

I LOVE MY READERS!

It's an incredible feeling when someone trusts you with their secrets - with their struggles and their heartbreak. It's an even better feeling when that person is a complete stranger, brought into your life because of the words you wrote for the world to see.

I've known from the beginning that my goal in writing YA fiction was to connect with as many people as possible. I wanted to tell stories about real teenagers dealing with real problems. There are so many young people out there in the world dealing with so many different things. I thought, as I was writing, that not everyone has someone to turn to with their hardships, especially one that can relate. Even if it's just a fictional character from a story, knowing there's someone else out there in the same situation makes a world of difference. Characters like Paxton, Larson, Owen, and Jade have made such an impact on my readers, and I'm so so thankful that I was able to create that outlet.

I've heard stories of depression and heartache and self-doubt. It's crazy that something created in my own imagination could mean so much, but it means I've done my job right.

To all of my fans, know that everything I write is for you. Know that I'm always here to listen. Message me any time on any social media site, or just email me. I'm not that far away. I'll make the time to hear you out, because everyone deserves to be happy!

Amazing things are happening here!

There are two very exciting things happening in May!

First off, my newest novel, Ninety Degrees, will be officially released on May 20th!

Second, that weekend on Sunday the 25th, I'll be celebrating with my Nashville fans at the Starbucks on West End Ave. 1 pm!
Come hang out and chat with me about Small Circles and all the other books in the Foster & Allan collection! I'll be answering all of your dying questions, including spoilery ones. So, if you haven't finished Small Circles, you might want to catch up ; )
Also, if you come, you'll get one of the beautiful posters I'm holding in the picture!

I hope to see some new faces!

Megan

Foster & Allan Lacrosse T-shirts!

The shirt you see here is an exact replication of the one mentioned in Three Sixty (the one Paxton is wearing during one of he and Audrina's heated arguments, given to him by Owen). Get your own and help me make my goal of selling 10 in two weeks! There are lots more designs where this came from, so if we make this goal I'll be posting more!

Charleigh McAfee - The New Characters in NINETY DEGREES

Meet Charleigh!

Charleigh McAfee doesn't appreciate herself. She's used to doing things on her own and getting her way. Her best friend, Silas, has always been able to understand her, but their connection frays when she comes across a transfer student at Chattanooga Prep. Her interest in the new kid also stimulates an interest in an old friendship - one she didn't think had a romantic future. Unfortunately, her new obsession with finding love leads to heartbreak, but out of it all she might discover that what she does matters.

Foster & Allan Lacrosse T-shirts!

Guess what? You can now buy official Small Circles merch! How is that? I'm starting a campaign through Teespring.com! Here's how it works!

All you have to do is visit teespring.com/smallcircles and click "buy it now"! This locks you in as one of the 10 sales I have to reach by May 12th. You won't be charged unless I reach the goal of 10, so you aren't obligated to buy the shirt if we don't reach the campaign goal in time. But if we do sell at least 10 shirts by May 12th, all of the proceeds will go towards funding my travels this summer and fall as part of my book festival tour! You're help and support means the world! I hope you all enjoy! This is the first shirt of many to come if this is successful!

Thank you!

It's been a while since I probably thanked you all for being so amazing! I don't want this to sound like a sales pitch, but a lot of you have been asking me about attending different events lately and I wanted to explain my situation. Because I am an independent author, my ability to travel and participate in these festivals, book events, etc. relies solely on whether or not I sell books. Whenever you buy one of my books, the money goes straight to anything that book is involved with (marketing, promotion, book signings, attending events). So it means the world to me whenever I see that you've purchased a copy or you're planning to, because when you do you're helping me live my dream. I don't have an agent and I'm not signed with a major publishing house. I've done everything on my own since I was 17 and it's been hard, but it's so worth it when I read your comments and hear your reviews. Knowing you love my books makes me want to keep doing this for the rest of my life!
