Mermaids Have Never Been Scarier…
COVER REVEAL AND RELEASE INFORMATION!
The Feed has just been released on Amazon and to celebrate, here are the cover reveals for the rest of the series, The Huntswomen Trilogy. Just to sum it up: dark fantasy, mermaids, sirens, sex.
It’s the secret project I’ve been working on for the last few weeks and the Kindle version is up and running. The paperback is soon to follow (still waiting for a proof review on that). I’m hoping to get the second book out this month. So, what’s next? Well, I’m not starting any new series until at least a few of the ones that are out are finished. The reason I have so many ongoing is that when I started publishing, I already had things finished. This month’s menu though includes only the stuff you’ve been waiting for: Indigo & Iris (sorry for the delay on that!), The House of Hands and Hearts and Hair, The Seven Wicked: Fourth, and the one you’ll hopefully soon be slobbering over, The Hunt. It’s a big list, but I think it’s doable.
My fellow Sarian Royal employee, Amanda, is working on the website as we speak and updating them beautifully so check that out at www.cmstunich.com and drop me a line sometime. I look forward to hearing from you, but first, I want you to sit back, relax, and enjoy The Feed.
Love and peace,
C.M.

Don’t Forget About Me; I’m Still Here
When it comes to writing, there are two main aspects: Writing (bet you couldn’t have guessed that, huh?) and Marketing. Time can be so limited that sometimes, it’s a choice between one or the other. I’ve been choosing writing. After all, that’s the most important part, right? It’s what I love; it’s also the reason I chose to indie/self-pub instead of spend time writing query letters. But just because I’m silent doesn’t mean I’m gone. I’m still here. In the following weeks, I’ll be releasing several more books, including lots of sequels and some rockin’ cover reveals. Also, look for Goodreads giveaways galore!
Series. *Grins* I’ve noticed that some people get scared when they see an author when too many unfinished series. Guess what? Ditto! There are certain books (can’t name names, sorry) that I have been waiting for resolutions on for YEARS. Ten or more in some cases, and there have even been some books I’ve read where the authors flat out say that they WILL not finish the series OR that they won’t be doing it for a very, very long time. That’s also disappointing, so I just wanted to say that no worries here. The reason I’ve chosen to release so many books from different series/stand alones is because of what I already had done/what my inner muse decided she felt like working on. I don’t ever want my characters to feel stale and boring to me so sometimes I just need to take a little break.
The Houses Trilogy is in progress and queued up to be finished soon as is The Seven Wicked Series. After those, my “mystery” series that I’m about to release will be finished, after which the Indigo Lewis novels will be rounded out and then the Suicide Girls series. Whew. So why am I here writing this blog? Just wanted to remind you to pick up your copy of The Seven Wicked: Third (http://www.amazon.com/The-Seven-Wicke...) and to let you know that I’m still thinkin’ about you.
Peace, love, and reading.

Visions Of Anime Sugarplums
Is it weird that I try to put most scenes I write to epic anime music? I thought so. Oh well, I’m gonna do it anyway. Imagining Eevee standing on the edge of a cliff with her hair and the necklace billowing in the wind is pretty awesome. Try and stop me! I know that’s totally off topic and not what you expected to hear from me on my first blog back from vacation, but there it is. Just consider it future fodder for you to make fun of me with. =)
Okay, so here’s the deal. Writing is now my full time job. I don’t make enough money for it to be, but right now, I’m fortunate enough to be in a position where for the next five months, this is all I need to do. Well, this and the Insanity Workout video by Shaun T. Wah! It’s so hard! If that doesn’t work, my darlings, then nothing will. Anyhow, I’m going to be working like a beast for awhile. It’s kind of scary. I’m so afraid of failure that sometimes, I let it cripple me. So with the following quotes in mind, I’m going to chase my dream as far as my legs will carry me.
“You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.” -Beverly Sills
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
“If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?” -RuPaul

Family and Writing, Oil and Water
So, I have some family in town right now which is awesome, but it also means that I won’t be getting the volume of writing done that I would like. I would almost consider this a good thing, too, since I’ve been going through a very sensitive stage in my author career development path. I think I’m on Step Three, Grow a Freaking Croc Skin. Grow a Skin of Boulders. Grow a Skin that’s Thick Enough that the Hurt Doesn’t get Through Anymore. Sigh. Anywho, you don’t want to hear about that. You want good news right? I argued with the printers and finally got my way with The Seven Wicked: Second. They’re even sending me a FREE proof copy, so expect to see that up soon. If I can just get past the issues I’m having with The Seven Wicked: Third and Indigo & Iris then all will be right with the world.
Thanks for sticking by me and giving a new author a chance. Send me an email, friend me on Facebook, or comment here. I would love to talk with my readers. =)

Amazon
Quick Update: I’ve had some inquiries on when my books are going to be available elsewhere (currently, they are only available from Amazon.com and Createspace). Here is a link to my Releases Page. It’s always going to be 90 days after my Amazon release to comply with the Kindle Lending Library. Thanks for checking!
Here are some random Seven Wicked covers for your enjoyment! (Pictures sure do spice up a blog, don’t they?)
Ahem.
Anyway, it’s back to the drawing board so I can finish up my backlog of projects. The Seven Wicked: Second cover issue has finally been resolved (sort of) with the printer, so I am just waiting on that to be delivered, so I can make sure they didn’t screw it up too royally. In other news, I just want to take a quick moment to thank everyone that’s been so nice to a brand new author on the scene. Thank you to the book bloggers, the Goodreads folks, the contest participants and those who purchased a copy of my books. I think I’ve said this before, but when someone reads one of my books and likes it, it makes me all teary eyed. Yes, I’m emotional, so sue me! It’s true! Hope you’re all enjoying these summer reads and I’m looking forward to being a part of your lives in your future reading endeavors.
Peace.

Ready or Not, Here I Come
Quick Updates: I sound like a broken record, but I swear the delay on my next few books is out of my control. The printer is not cooperating as nicely as usual… Still, no excuses, just results right? Keep checking back. Things change daily here!
Here are some images to entertain you before I launch into more stuff:
There are the three covers for The Houses Trilogy, in case you haven’t seen them yet! The second book in the series will be out before the end of August which totally rocks, right?
I’m not devoting the time and energy to this blog that I want to yet because I still have a lot of back up work to go. As of this moment, I am waiting on a plumber for some craziness that’s happening with the pipes in my bathroom. Shudders. Scary stuff, that. So, I suppose I can update you on what to expect in the new few weeks.
I’m trying to kick the Seven Wicked’s butts FAST. I want you to have all the books before Fall is out. The Houses Trilogy-same way. I want to finish some series so you guys know I can be trusted. Also, I’ve got some new kids on the block. My novels, The Feed, The Hunt, and the Throne will have their cover reveals soon (this is a new trilogy) and also my stand alone book, Deadborn, should be out soon. Not going to cover reveal that either until Third and Indigo & Iris are up. Also, the cover for my novel, Numinous, will be up soon. (Yes, I had a ton of books prewritten or partially prewritten before I started all of this madness so I’ve got the next few years of your life covered, no problem!!!! Not to mention my writing madness…)
Happy reading and carpe nocturne!

Transcribing Pains
So the other day I got some awesome stuff down for my next book on my recorder. I don’t use it too often, mostly when I’m driving and can’t write. But dear God, I wished I talked slower or typed faster. Transcribing isn’t easy. Makes me respect my aunt who’s a court reporter. Don’t know how they do it … Sigh … Anyway, just letting you know I’m still here, still working hard, still waiting for my cover designer to fix an issue with The Seven Wicked: Second’s paperback cover … Then we’ll release third and my western/steampunk/urban fantasy, Indigo & Iris. After all of that is done, I have an awesome announcement, writing schedule updates, release date updates, and cover reveals.
Oh, and don’t forget to check out SarianRoyal.com, the publishing company that I cofounded. We are doing some awesome work there with sick’ning graphics. Hope to release free wallpaper downloads soon and we’ll have some T-shirts and what not with cover images, sayings, character art, etc. We’ve got a lot we want to give to you, but I suppose you’ll just have to wait. After all, there’s only twenty-fours in a day!
P.S. Visit me on Goodreads and enter to win free copies of my books in paperback. I’m doing at least one a month, but probably more like four a month if I get my way on that!!!
http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sho...
P.P.S. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a copy of my books thus far! You are amazing, incredible, supportive, awesome folks and I feel lucky that you’ve read my work. Read on, dear people, read on!

Beautiful Brutality
I’m on a brutal, butt kicking writing schedule that is punishment of the best kind. Before I touch more on that, let me reassure all of you patient folks that the paperback for The Seven Wicked: Second, and the eBook and paperback copies of The Seven Wicked: Third and Indigo & Iris should be up any day. We’ve run into more admin problems than I expected. So, keep watching for those. Can’t wait for you to read ‘em!
So, I am going to try -not going to promise but going to try – to have the fourth an fifth books for The Seven Wicked series out on around the 23rd of this month. I’m writing 10-16 hours a day right now. Part of it is because you guys are so awesome. Part of it is because I got fired from my job (more on that a different day) and part of it is because I need to know what happens to Eevee and Caleb! I know, I’m a dork, but I love to read my own books. I’ve probably said this before, but I’ll say it again: I only write books that I’m slobbering to read.
Also, on a grammatical/copy editing note. I have found some errors in Hell Inc. that escaped my attention. It bugs me immensely and for that, I am terribly sorry, but I promise that a lot of love and care went into that book. Several pairs of eyes went over it… *Sighs* I will be updating the files on a regular basis. Don’t have a schedule for that, but I will soon. As it is though, they’re not too terribly horrible and don’t screw up the content, so for that, I’m grateful. If you see any though, feel free to email them to acarroll@sarianroyal.com to get a coupon on future book purchases! Yay!
There’s so much that I want and need to talk about, but I’ve got to write. All of this Internet stuff is horribly addicting..

So…
So Fourth of July came and went and there are five of my books for sale on Amazon. There should be seven. Due to the holiday, getting the files approved and loaded on the site is taking longer than I thought (also a small ISBN mix up with The Seven Wicked: Second is costing us some time on the paperback although the Kindle version is up.) If The Seven Wicked: Third and Indigo & Iris aren’t up by Monday, then I’m going to have to eat my own words. But I promise you, they’re ready to go and I’m working my bum off today getting last minute details cleaned up. There should be some nice site fixes on cmstunich.com and some great details added to sarianroyal.com.
After this, I have a surprise release that I’ll be working on. Stay tuned for that and I’ll see you all on the other side!

FAQ To Be Added
Here’s an FAQ that I’ll be adding to that page soon:
“In Hell Inc., Ginger is only 20. Why is she able to order a cocktail?”
My characters never live in an actual city. I always, always, always make up a new one that suits my needs based on a real place. In my mind, Ginger lives in a Washington, USA/British Columbia, Canada mix city called Everett. In BC, the legal drinking age is 19. You guys are super attentive, ASK AWAY!!!!!!!
(I am so super duper swamped for the next two days. I promised you guys my life story, writing tips, all kinds of stuff and I will deliver but first I have to get your books out!)
