Friday's Flash - An Unexpected Intervention
I write flash fiction and poetry to help me hone my craft...and as part of my story discovery process, and I'll be returning to a regular flash fiction posting as part of my accountability process.Don't let the name fool you. The flash fiction will be shared on Friday, but it won't necessarily be written then. Today's piece, for instance, was part of Wednesday's writing session, and was another

WiP Cover Reveal: Two Future Collections
In December 2022, I took delivery of three covers - yes, my cover artist outdid himself, and turned in a couple of covers early, and one very early. The first one, I'd like to keep under wraps a little longer, but the other two are for my next poetry and flash fiction collection, and as I'll be sharing snippets from them, I thought I'd introduce them properly. The first is for Another 366 Days of

Something to Read While I'm Formatting - Alien Invasion from Another 365 Days of Flash Fiction
It's been a long road to getting this one complete and ready to publish, but I'm in the last stages, now.365 pieces of flash, one author forward and some author notes, later, and it's over 120,000 words long, and traveling the spectrum of science fiction to fantasy to a few variations in between. The piece I started the day formatting is this one:--------------------------------------------------

Progress Report, and Today's First Flash
I'm on the last stretch of writing Another 365 Days of Flash Fiction - and aiming to finish it either late today, or mid-tomorrow. I don't know which of those it'll be, but I have 46 pieces of flash to go, which is anywhere between 2,000 and 20,000 words, depending on how short and flashy I keep it. Today's first piece is a little on the long side, coming in at 331 words. Enjoy...but, now, I'm
